I got a Nintendo DS is for christmas and three games which are fun but ive came to the conclusion my DS is really useless as it stands. Thats untill i found information about homebrew and modding, it scared me at first as all i was finding was things about changing firmware and such, things i really didnt want to do. It seems theres some very good solutions out there for the DS and i am shocked how difficult this information is to find, this seems so simple and reliable.

I dont want to spend much money into this untill i see how it works out that is why ive narrowed down to the M3 Simply. I like how its all i need and a micro SD card. Is the M3 Simply a good modding solution? Has it got support for most of the game ROMS and homebrew applications? Are there any signifcant disadvantages to this setup? Any big advantages a more traditional setup has over this one. Like i said id like to not get a huge sum of money tied up in this, this being the first time ive modded a handheld like this. But its important i get a product that is well tested and compatible with many game ROMS and applications. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

Go down to the bottom of the page for mult. reviews. Personally I own one and it can run every game I ever threw at it. Only problem is the homebrew support. On some games/apps the touch screen or sound doesnt work or it simply( ) refuses to boot. Since it has been out for a while more hombrew will be made (ie. Snemul was released with simply support). Decide for yourself, I'm happy with the product.

The only thing it wont do is GBA roms and some homebrew designed for the GBA slot. Since the release of DLDI drivers most currently developed homebrew will work.
