I have all the updates in the folder, but when I go to start it,, it goes through PSP screen, then black screen for a few seconds, then the error "Game could not be started" I know someone else had this problem, but i wasnt sure if it was just cause im 3.02OE-A..can anyone help? Also, on my PSP it is x:PSP/game/ not game150..does that have something to do with it?

Make the GAME150 folder and try it in there.

The readme clearly states, and I quote "Copy oeupdatemaker and oeupdatemaker% to /PSP/GAME if you are in firmware 1.50, or to
/PSP/GAME150 if you are in 2.71 SE or 3.02 OE."
Did you read the readme? or just decided it would be more efficient to ask here?

I have the same problem as the thread starter. When I launch the updatemaker, it goes through the PSP screen but fails saying 'Game could not be started.'
I've read the readme file, but what's odd is that I'm running 3.02 OE-B yet the update will only appear when I have the folder set up as PSP/GAME. Now, when I try to set it up as PSP/GAME, the updatemaker doesn't even show up.

Look peeps, the oeupdmaker and oeupdmaker% folders must go in the GAME150 folder so that they run from the 1.50 kernel. They won't work in PSP/GAME without special settings. The flasher must go in the GAME150 folder as well, once you finish making the DATA.DXAR.

to liquidKal, I did read it... I thought when upgrading to 3.02OE-A would automatically create the folder. I now have it fixed, so theres no reason to spam this up with useless posts. by the way in the readme it does say place it in the game150 folder, but does it say anywhere in 3.03OEA or 3.02OEA/B to create the folder? NO...so me, not being the smartest person in the world needed help..and to Dark-Magik, or anyone else thats confused, just go to X:PSP/ and create a folder called: GAME150 then place the files in that folder..

You're right, what about submitting those solutions to the stickied 3.0X firmwares guide's thread ? Because this thread will soon be buried.
