Can someone please confirm if disc swapping works in Popstation, for example in MGS. Or if it isn't currently, will it be working in 3.03?
Thanks guys (and gals).

In games that feature a save before disc switching what you must do is save the game, restart the psp, load up pops with disc2 and then load your game.
So far I don't think there are any multi-disc games released from Sony so there may be no in-built multi-cd support in pops. This means games which simply say 'insert disc 2' won't work yet.

1. There's a method where you can get a save file of the game on ePSXe just after the disc change for games that don't have a save function before the save and then convert it to be compatible with CWCheat and do that. Then it becomes, really, "someone else's" game. :P
2. Apparently, according to someone, there's already a 'disc swap' feature in the PSOne Emulator, but is yet to be unlocked because there are no 'official' PSOne-PSP games that are multi disc, so guess you just have to wait.

only multi-disc games that offer a save feature before changing of discs work.
Jus match all the CD's and save data with the same ID.
Is there any working way to rip a PSP save and play it on your PC with ePSXe? If so, that would work very well.

Yes, there is - check the forums for the CWCheat popstation system - it includes much of the data you need.

I'm a linux user. What should I do to make sure my disks have the same ID?

Is there a Linux version of the Popstation program? I think he included a copy of the source code - and since it needs the cygwin library to run under Windows, I'm pretty sure it will compile on Linux, and then run the same way.
Sadly, I'm stuck on this Windows machine for some time, so I can't check this out myself :(.

Yep, I recompiled Popstation and got it working. Hopefully I'll be able to disk-swap.
