My friend just got one from HK, but we're having a problem playing a backup game.

I followed the instruction from www.ezflash.cn, and loader seems to be running fine. We can play mp3 from the loader, but when we try to run a game, all we get is blank white screen.

If anyone can help, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.

Hi,

i got my EZ Flash V one week ago, all games worked.
I Played Castlevania PoR one hour and no freezes.
I use a Kingston 1GB SD micro Card (Made in Japan) with Speed setting 2.

Mine finally arrived from Kick Trading (www.kicktrading.ca) and it failed terribly UNTIL I INSTALLED THE LATEST KERNEL PATCH (1.31).

After that everything works absolutely fine.

1Gb Kingston micro SD.

The docs could be better, but otherwise very happy.

You might need to copy the game files to the NDS with the help of a program called "EZ5 HYBRID Tool"...app can patch games that dont run (white screen) as well as remove any superflous file info...info about the tool can be found here http://ezflash.sosuke.com/wiki/index.php?title=EZFlash_V_quickstart_guide#Adding_ hybrid_ROMs_to_your_EZ-V as well as a link to download it...

edit: shoulda mentioned...picked up this chip from Winsunx and am happy with it...my son got the DS Lite for Xmas and he is in gamer heaven...with a 2g Sandik Micro SD card he has about 20 odd games, a movie and a heap of MP3's...

Also check your card speed (in settings, hold L and hit R). Some card will not run as fast as others. It is documented on the ezflash wiki site

btw, i bought the bundle and have been playing with it for a few days. I am very impressed (although i have never used any other adapter). The only game i have had issues running is Yoshi's touch and Go.

im thinking of getting the EZ flash V and the 3 in 1 expansion, does it work with opera web browser and do i have to patch games before i use them?? and finally can i use the 3 in 1 adaptor witht the the vibrate on many games??

Yes, it works with opera. I haven't had to patch any games yet, but i have a fast card. Just search for which cards are the fastest and get one( my 1gb was $8 on amazon).
