Which thing would make you the happiest ?

In this end of the year, we were offered great presents by PSP developers, such as 3.02 OE-B (with full speed PSX emulation), DH 0.52 emulating 3.03...

What thing would make this end of year 2006 the nearest as possible than perfection ?

Some absolutely want an option to overclock their CPU on 3.02 OE.
Some want a 'save state prx' for PSP/PSX games.
Others are still wondering about the furture of N64 emulation on PSP.

If you have another idea, tell us about it !


I think I would prefer N64 emulation :
Seeing how much games are smoothier on 3.00+ without any overclocking (yes, the CPU is still 222MHz. Read this if you understand French, it's from a man working for Sony : http://community.yourpsp.com/showpost.php?p=957558&postcount=26), I think it would be easier to make a full speed (even without sound) N64 emulator on OE. I'm not really interested in PSX emulation (PSP is my first PlayStation)... and I would love playing Smash Bros on my PSP :o
And as it would be a homebrew, the dev can overclock the CPU.

I think i would like ad hoc multilayer support in CPS2PSP with full source this seems like a realistic possiblity.

I can't remember the exacts, but whoever it was that did that N64 emulator that ran Mario64 half descently showed what can be done.

IMO N64 on PSP was/is AMAZING!!!

I have a few. The first is more compatibility with Popstation. The second would be a N64 emulator. The third is a PS2 emulator. (I know it's not possible, but the specs on paper for both make it semi-possible.) The third one, would be a complete customizer for the 3.02OE-x firmware. (Ex, change the names of the catagories, change the color of text in the XMB, etc.)

I would like to see full speed N64 emulation with WiFi multi-player support in '07, GoldenEye 007 would be lots of fun that way, and if it did that I could get my wife to pick up and play the PSP I bought for her...

Well, I like what the devs have done with the psp and I am definitely thankful for all their hard work.
I dont need anything else for my psp but assuming anything's possible, I would like to see a N64 emu at full speed. But even if nothing else is ever released I would be content with what I got.

Any new emulators are always welcome. I love all things retro.

Right now though, I'd like usb support in 3.xx more than anything else. All the copying and deleting I'm doing these days is bound to kill my memory stick sooner rather than later.

there is a pretty fast emulator for 64 already all it needs it some more speed and campatability and it is called daedelus!
