View Full Version : CWcheat v0.16 E for PSX Emulator on PSP - epsxe memory card Support!
Weltall has released a new version of his cheat application which is also compatible with the official PSX emulator. The major new feature of this release is that gamers can now load all your old game data to the PSP. Gamesaves from your PC or PSX/PS2 will be loadable on the PSP. Very cool stuff indeed!

Hello maxconsole,
with this version of cwcheat you can finally load your memory cards coming from pc emulators or psx/ps2 consoles.
these memory cards are stored and loaded in the epsxe format this mean that you can directly load them with the best emulators out there (epsxe, pSX) or convert them with any decent memory card manager tool (or manage also them :P).
then you can use also tools like dexdrive to get saves or load your saves in a psx memory card, or extract the single saves and put them in the ps2 with applications like ulanchelf. (to do this you need to use psxmemtool extract the mc as ps1 remove the 0x80 header so it starts with SC and put the name you see in the header as the file name)
anyway back to cwcheat.
it permits to store up to 256 memory cards per game and they are identified with the GAMEID-MEMCARDNUM.mcr for example for the first memory card of xenogears which has id SLUS_00664 it will be SLUS_00664-0.mcr.
these memory cards will be stored in /seplugins/cwcheat/mc and can be easily loaded to slot 1 or 2 by selecting the corrispective option.
except from that there were other fix.

-fixed a little thing which for some game could make cwcheat not loading the id correctly
-fixed the directory were the db is saved from the cwcheat interface now it's saved in the correct folder
-new folder "mc" under /seplugins/cwcheat/
-fixed some reported things here and there
and now the most important thing:
-> BUILTIN SUPPORT to loading/saving epsxe (mcr) memory card to/from the psp emulator!!!
-> in this way you can load your own game saves from pc or psx/ps2 on the psp and viceversa! :)
-> but also go over problematic points in games.

This is fantastic! Someone get ePSXe, get to Disc 2, and save immediately. Then upload that save file to everyone, and everyone can load it! Yaaay! ^^

It works! But there may be some bugs, or maybe I'm just doing it wrong...
EDIT: Forget what I said below, I got it working now, it seems that if you load the saves while at the main menu for FF7, it behaves funny and the saves only show where there was already a save. if you then load a game and return to title screen everything works :D I'll leave the stuff below so you know what I was refering to.
I used a program called PSXGameEdit to create a memory card image and i placed two individual saves into it (.psx format) they were slot 1 and 2 saves for FF7 I created myself on my real memory card back in the day.
I saved the image, transfered to PSP, loaded up FF7 and backed up my existing save to mcr file using CWCheat. Then I loaded the memory card image I had created into memory card 1 and it worked, but only the slot 1 save would show up in the FF7 menu. And it would only show up in memory card 1. When trying to load it into memory card 2, neither save would show up.
I then loaded back my original save into both memory card 1 and 2 and it showed up perfectly on both.
Is this a bug in CWCheat? or is PSXGameEdit not making a working .mrc file? It worked partially in memory card 1 which makes me think it might be CWCheats fault. If it was PSXGE fault, it should work the same on both memory cards right?
Any ideas?

EDIT: Nevermind. Found it.
Also, when playing Castlevania: symphony of the night, CWcheat picks up the SLUS id as: 'LUS_000.7;'

can someone please help me, i'm just converting xenogears to eboot.pbp and have downloaded this latest cwcheat and its all installed on my mem card. I lost xenogears before so i downloaded a file from gamefaqs with various saves included in it at different states of the game so i don't have to start from the beginning. the file is called xenogears_c.gme, where do i put this file to be able to load the saves on my psp? or do i have to convert it?
any help much appreciated :)

Ok i stuck... I have a mcr. file named something like memorycard1.mcr, with Metal Gear Solid savedata on it.... But I CANT get it to load... EVEN if I rename it to the game(metal gear) id.... It still just shows me the old "official" savedata... What should I do... I really wanna play metal gear solid disc 2:confused:

The file has to be named like this: SCUS_94163-0.mcr
with the code being of whatever game your playing.
Then you have to go to the memory card manager within the CWCheat menu and select the first load option. Only then will the data show up in the MGS load menu.
Edit: I forgot to add, try and load the save in the cwcheat menu as soon as the game loads up. If you load it after the game has already read some of the save info, it might show up properly. Happened to me with FF7, had to load the memory card data before the title screen loaded up.

Hope this helps just to let you know my Game ID is SLUS-00594 and hears the epsxe save if you don't want to go through all that trouble. just put it in your mc folder in Cwcheat and load it.

You can use this converter here to make them into .mcr files so you can use them the Cwcheat http://psxmemtool.ngemu.com/index.php.
Just load up your save with it and click on the save icon, then from the drop down menu chose "Save Type mcr" Once they are converted pick the save the goes past the disk change point, find out the Game Id of your second disk and name that converted mcr file like this:
Disk 2 Game id is: SLUS-00776
rename mcr file to: slus_00776-0.mcr
Then put that file into your psp's memory stick here:X:\seplugins\cwcheat\mc\
and load it up with Cwcheat in the manage memory card option...and don't forget to save right after.

you must not load memory cards while you are in the save menu because the game won't update it's data. i can't put missing functions in the emu if the emu doesn't emulate card insertion/extraction you must load memory cards when the game isn't accessing to them (or hasn't cached them)
(in more simple words it's like if i hot swapped the memory chip content in a real memory card)

Just great ! I knew bothering to add manually to each game converted its true ID would be worth the efforts, what about riding again some gold chocobos, play MGS with the cloaking device or clean the dust out of some monster cars in GT2 hehehe. Thanks a lot for this soft.

oh yeah sorry about that my mind was somewhere else, but your right that last bit would have been for when you change disk's. but I don't think you would have to go through that trouble since it's only a few games that don't allow saves before a disk change. like metal gear or parasite eve.

well i didn't make that function for problematic games but to move saves to/from psp and pc/psx/ps2 and store more than 2 (how limited) memory cards

I downloaded a PlayStation DexDrive Gran Turismo Save from gamefaqs. It came in as a .gme file, I converted it to a MCR file and named it SCUS_94488-0.mcr. I copied the save to the X:\seplugins\cwcheat\mc\ folder, Loaded the game and accessed the CWcheat menu and selected the manage memory cards option. It says currently selected memory card file: SCUS_94488-0.MCR, I click load memory card 1 from stick and I back out to the game and started playing but the save is not being effective. Am I doing something wrong?

I had all my games converted using original popstation that came with OE-B. Never bothered with the slus-id thing, so essencially I have game ID of hot shot golf 2 (SCUS_94476) for all my games.
My question is that when I put in the codes, do I use Hot Shot Golf 2 ID (_S SCUS_94476) or that of the actual game I converted?

gran turismo i remember it accessed mc automatically (i could be wrong it has been a lot of years) in this case you must load the mc the earlier possible

because cwcheat has support of up to 256 memory cards from number 0 to number 255

itīs a little bit complicated to get it done. But in short; you have to install an ftp server (or ulaunch.elf) on your ps2, install your ps2 through ethernet cable with your pc. With an ftp client or ie you can then access your memorycard, i donīt have a ps1 mc, so donīt know for sure if it works with that :)

When I start my game (Tekken 3) and go to the cheat menu, it lists the game Id as TEKKEN\LU
When I try to Save to Stick, the activity light blinks, but when I look on the Stick, no file is created in the MC directory
When I try to Load from Stick (file name Tekken3_LU-0.mcr) it blinks again, but no data is loaded.
Any ideas?

you see like Weltall said it's function was made to handle multiple memory cards. and well the reason I said that it would be best to save right after you load your save was just for, safety because when you load up your epsxe save the changes aren't recorded onto your real save(the one that shows up in your psp's XMB) until you save to it directly through your game, but it's up to you when you should save.

Is there any conversion to do once these files have been extracted? This is the method I will be using, so any help is appreciated. (Well, probably not ftp, but rather launchelf and a flash drive.) Thanks!

when i hold select nothing comes up when i go to select cheats?! i was just testing to see if they appear even though the game im playing has no cheats on there at the moment?! do they only appear if they're relevant to your slus file? the cheatpops.db is in this directory - F:\seplugins\cwcheat
is that the right place? or do i have to move it to a dh folder like the previous cwcheat?

Firstly, big thumbs up to Dark_Alex, Booster, Weltall & all the helpfull guys and gals in the forums.
I don't normally post requesting help, and have successfully ran several versions of Devhook on my 1.5 PSP before upgrading to D_A's 3.02 OE-B firmware just by following the "Read Me's" and trawling these forums when I hit a problem.
However, I cannot get cheat codes to show using Weltall's CWcheat 0.16E for PSX games.
I have the cheat database with Coolboarder's codes and this is what I'm using to test. The SCUS numbers match, but when I select cheat codes there's nothing there.
I've enabled Plain modules and cwcheatspops.prx (got the funny disabled glitch as mentioned in the Readme) and are pretty sure I'm doing everything right. Any ideas where I'm going wrong.
Also is anyone working on a cheatpops database?

I was able to download a Datel Dex Drive save (.GME) and convert it to an ePSXe save (.MCR) and then easily import it into my Lunar 2 game using CWCHEAT REV E.

This thing is confusing the hell out of me. I'm running OE-B but never used CWcheat before.
All I want to know is if this somehow allows me to make my older savegames created by a game converted with popstation.exe work with the EBOOTs produced by one of the GUI versions.
They'll work together as soon as their ID match. If the ID doesn't match, use CWcheat menu while running the desired game to identify its ID and edit the param.sfo into your desired savegame folder with that ID.

there is something really wrong with your system.cnf (or a popstation gui is messing all) in any case i need a ram dump made with cwcheat to analize the problem

yes only if the id is the same of the game. yes it's the correct folder

Firstly, big thumbs up to Dark_Alex, Booster, Weltall & all the helpfull guys and gals in the forums.
I don't normally post requesting help, and have successfully ran several versions of Devhook on my 1.5 PSP before upgrading to D_A's 3.02 OE-B firmware just by following the "Read Me's" and trawling these forums when I hit a problem.
However, I cannot get cheat codes to show using Weltall's CWcheat 0.16E for PSX games.
I have the cheat database with Coolboarder's codes and this is what I'm using to test. The SCUS numbers match, but when I select cheat codes there's nothing there.
I've enabled Plain modules and cwcheatspops.prx (got the funny disabled glitch as mentioned in the Readme) and are pretty sure I'm doing everything right. Any ideas where I'm going wrong.
Also is anyone working on a cheatpops database?

DrGast This thing is confusing the hell out of me. I'm running OE-B but never used CWcheat before.
All I want to know is if this somehow allows me to make my older savegames created by a game converted with popstation.exe work with the EBOOTs produced by one of the GUI versions.
you need the original eboot else you can't do anything. load it then save memorycard to memory stick then load the new eboot and load memory card from memory stick. finally save something on the mc and it will be fine.

i cant get it to work, when i press load or save card the ms light dosnt blink and it wont work. it also shows the game id as SLUS_01.1 where it should be SLUS_01115, but i put saves in there named both just in case. i realy want to play harvest moon with my old farm.

it actualy says "\SLUS_01.1" as the game id in cwcheat. which would explain alot more as to why its not working.

there is something really wrong with your system.cnf (or a popstation gui is messing all) in any case i need a ram dump made with cwcheat to analize the problem

It depends on how you set it up. If you follow the directions here:
PSX on PSP for multiple disks (http://www.gamerspress.com/index.php?title=PSX_on_PSP_Multiple_Disk_Howto), you won't need CWCheat.
If you use CWCheat, then the memory card ID may change per disk. For example, in the case of Parasite Eve, Disk 1 is SLUS00662, Disk 2 is SLUS00668. So after the disk swap, if you're using CWCheat, you'll have to rename the file from SLUS00662-0.mcr from Disk 1 to SLUS00668-0.mcr for Disk 2.
But, at least this gives you the option, and makes it easier to copy the files about. I think the main use it to get the memory card from your PSX on PSP game, transfer it to a Playstation memory card, then continue the game on your Playstation console for places with problems or games like "Chrono Cross" that have you swap disks before you save.

No, it does not work. it 'goes through the motion' of saving, and there is a split second of card access (orange light blinks once) but no file is created.
My assumption is that since the ID of the Tekken 3 game is TEKKEN\LU that the file can't be created since the backslash character is not a valid character for filenames...
Also, today I tried out a PAL version of Tekken 3, and the program identified it as TEKKEN\LE (E insted of U) This kind of makes me think that perhaps there is nothing wrong, it is just an ID that cwcheat doesn't know how to interpret.
I assume the workaround would be to change the Game ID within the image, perhaps this option can be added to the next version of PSX2PSP ?

Does anyone get garbled up sound with FFTactics and CWcheat? It gets quite annoying with CWcheat on and it seems to cause heavy memory stick access during the intro FMV.

No, it doesn't work... i don't know why. I've done everything that is written in the readme...
Let's go through the steps one by one:
1. Download CWcheat v0.16E
2. Extract the files.
3. Copy the directory seplugins to the root of your PSP.
4. Turn off your PSP.
5. Turn on your PSP, holding the right shoulder button. You should be in the recovery menu.
6. Select "Advanced", then "Advanced Configuration". You want to set "Plain modules in UMD/ISO" to Enabled by clicking on it.
7. Select Back, then Back (so you are back at the Main Menu).
8. Select Plugins.
9. You should see cwcheatpops.prx - set it to enabled. If you see the word (Disabled) underneath it, don't worry - that's normal.
10. Select Back to go back to the Main Menu, then Exit.
11. I find it best to turn the PSP off, then on again between playing your PSX games.
Now you should be fully installed. Make sure you don't have any other plugins installed, just to make sure.
Anything missing here?

It won't work in XMB - it will only work when you're running the PSX on PSP game.

Yes. If you "save memory", then it will save the contents of your PSX on PSP game to the .mcr file you specify.
Then you can copy that .mcr file onto your computer. If you have something like a Dex Drive (available for $10 - $15 on eBay including shipping) then you can transfer that save file (after you edit it to become a dex drive file) onto a PS1 memory card.
If you want, I can send you a link that shows some of the process and software.

I'm experiencing some audio issues, it's somewhat different to every body elses, but essentially, I'm playing Grandia and the sound is perfect at 222. However, from time to time, it'll become slowed down and rough, so I change the CPU to 333, and it's perfect, but then I can change it back to 222, and it's perfectly fine. I don't think it's an issue of the game having too many objects or screen or lagging or anything like that, so I'm certain it's the program. Any ideas? Awesome plugin by the way.

Well try it and let me know...and There is one code i'm sure wont work since it's a modifier code. and that requires you to add the last 4 digits if you want just open it up in note pad and you'll see it, it will have four ???? at the end.
As Weltall said I've added zeros to the modifier codes so that you can modifie them in game by pressing the square button on the cheat

He thinks you are saying that you put the msroot folder on your root. But he's saying that you have to have 'seplugins' directly on your root and not have it in msroot (as if you had just dragged and dropped it).

it's an emulator it doesn't matter if there are too things on screen the psx has some "cpu" in it which does different things so it may be them the priority of cwcheat is 0x64 (and the logic of priority is 0x1 max priority 0x64 low priority) eg: the screenshoot plugins have a much higher priority.
sony set the emulator as default as 333/166 there is a reason :P

the emulator works at 333mhz they are right but i forgot to change default for cwcheat to 333mhz so it's underclocking at 222mhz upon startup by default. to fix this just set 333/166 go to config menu and select save config as default

The cheatpops db goes like this:
ms0:/seplugins/cwcheat/cheatpops.db
and you have to have the Game ID for the game in the database before the codes.

He thinks you are saying that you put the msroot folder on your root. But he's saying that you have to have 'seplugins' directly on your root and not have it in msroot (as if you had just dragged and dropped it).

tabs78 my game is scus00001 i insert cwcheat and i remane the save to scus00001..but in cwcheat don't see it and the only save show is sles11508.
cwcheat doesn't care how you called your games in the EBOOT or saves for psp it cares only on what's read by the psx bios and that data is read from the SYSTEM.CNF (it does have an extension you have windows set to don't show known extensions if it doesn't)

Don't just put the cwcheatpops.prx file - you also need the pops.txt file and the cwcheat directory.
If you don't have the pops.txt (I think that's the file name) there, then it won't know which prx file to enable.

Yeah codes are region specific, but PAL games are much less compatible with the emulator anyways. If you try the NTSC codes on a PAL game, there will be no effect. But codebreakers usually has codes for each region anyways.

Man i have been having a hard time with this load save stuff i tried a million thing just wont work. I have converted FFT save file the ID is SCUS-94221

What type of save are you converting...is it a raw ps1 save that you made or one you downloaded off the net...another thing is that you might be naming it wrong, check to make sure that it's the same name of the file Cwcheat is looking for at the bottom of the Memory card manager section

did someone already find a way to implement the time-stop cheat for gran turismo 2 ntsc? or the "all gold" cheat? (i believe i own version 1.2 of gt, but im not sure. note that the different versions seem to have different codes).
if not, does anyone have a "all license gold" cheat which he/she can share with me? (no races driven, no money, only licenses and the resulting cars).

Alright, I'm trying to use this to get it to load my second disc of Metal Gear Solid.
I have everything in the right place as described by the numerous people around. I load up the second disc of MGS, and hold select.
Go to the memory cards area, push save mem card 1 to mem stick, light blinks for a few seconds, then push load mem card 1 from mem stick, light blinks very briefly. Push exit, and return to game. No save files are listed in LOAD GAME.
I've tried the two actions together, and seperately and nothing is working. The product code is correct on cwcheat, my eboot, and the mcr file. Everything is in the correct place as mentioned before.
What am I doing wrong, here? I'm trying to upload a working second disc for my thread on PSPISO.

Yes. If you "save memory", then it will save the contents of your PSX on PSP game to the .mcr file you specify.
Then you can copy that .mcr file onto your computer. If you have something like a Dex Drive (available for $10 - $15 on eBay including shipping) then you can transfer that save file (after you edit it to become a dex drive file) onto a PS1 memory card.
If you want, I can send you a link that shows some of the process and software.

that's the best method to use just copy your save onto your memory card to your psp or jump drive, then to your pc. You'll need this to convert the raw ps1 save to mcs format so you can open it with psxmemtool then just convert it to mcr format so you can use it with Cwcheat on and load it up on your psp.

it sounds like you just wrote over your save file, thus there is nothing to load. put the file back on your memory stick from your pc and only use 'load memory card 1 from memory stick.' you only need to use 'save memory card' if you want to have 256 cards or you want to transfer it to a playstation memory card.

it's an emulator it doesn't matter if there are too things on screen the psx has some "cpu" in it which does different things so it may be them the priority of cwcheat is 0x64 (and the logic of priority is 0x1 max priority 0x64 low priority) eg: the screenshoot plugins have a much higher priority.
sony set the emulator as default as 333/166 there is a reason :P
Heh, I see... but it's the inconsistency that's worrying me. For example, right now, let's say "scene A", I'm playing on 222 and it's completely perfect, but sometimes when I go to the exact "scene A", the sound will become choppy. But you're the guru here, so I think I'll just keep it on 333. :P

How come whenever I enable cwcheatpops.prx in the plugin, I try to skip my Cintro, but it freezes. Every other plugin is fine, but whenever I try to skip my Cintro while cwcheatpops.prx is enabled, it freezes and just shuts down. Anyone know why?

When I open the menu to load cheats, the cheats won't load (the game ID is identical though) and instead it's just blank and black. I know I didn't do anything wrong because every other codes that I put for other games work. It's a problem with cwcheat.

Thanks for the reply weltall. By the way, great job on making this. It's my only solution to playing multi disc games with saving problem (not to mention the cheat function).
As for the memory dump, I don't know how to make a memory dump. If someone can tell me how to do it, I'll send it to you weltall.
I understand the problem with the Cintro. I thought it was strange that the pops edition didn't work with my Cintro and I started to wonder if it had problems because it didn't work on the vsh. The strange thing is, the vsh loads when I let the Cintro finish. It only freezes when I try to skip it and normally it doesn't freeze when I skip it. I guess I'll find another solution to playing my Cintro.
EDIT: Well I figured out how to make a dump by myself, but do I just make the dump anytime in the game? This is the dump I made and I made it during a intro screen in Super Robot Wars Alpha and it's around 2mb:

If you're IRC dwellers, might know me as the infamous object of "blame movax", and I can also be found hanging around in the #cccp project channel on chatsociety...anyways!
After some investigating today on my new PSP (I've had it for about a week only :( ), found out that savedata's encrypted, making it a PITA to deal with the saved memcard's on the PSP. (Thanks to weltall for even replying to my e-mail too :)). I finished some PSX memory card parsing code, and now working on doing a PSP savedata decryption routine ported over to the PC as well.
The object? An all-in-one GUI for Windows that lets you xfer saves between the PC & PSP, much like CWCheat does, except with PSX memory card management rolled into it.
If anyone managed to snag the latest PSPSDK (I think it was mentioned it had the routine for the latest savegame encrypt. method), could someone upload it perhaps? Seems like ps2dev.org is really slow/down.
*EDIT* Seems like sceChnnlsv is what I want to use. Assuming this is some kinda kernel only call (and if it applies to the stuff used on the memcard files), there's no way to port the routine/code over to the PC I guess?

well after trying for the entire day, i am stumped as to why i cant get cwcheat to work. ive followed the directions word for word yet everytime i press and hold select nothing appears, i know other members are getting the same error. i tried placing the plugin under game and vsh, and cwcheat doesnt load up during either xmb nor games. anyone can help? if not, can someone create a psp popstation save format for me. i have the save file converted to .mcr already. its for FF7, im sure alott of people have it, lol.

When i load castlevania i hold select and go to the manage memory card bit then to load memory card one and all i can see is SLUS_00067-0 to 255.mcr not my save.
What am i doing wrong thanks for any help.

Dude thanks for checking. I have a feeling it's something to do with the damn game because I just noticed that the game has an insane of amount of glitches while playing it on the psx emulator. Oh and for the Cintro, it wasn't the cwcheatpop plugin at all either. I just did something wrong with my files and that's why it kept freezing and now I've solved the problem. Thanks for helping out.

Can I get something straight? It's been bugging me...so this version of CWCHEAT for POPS is only for POPS? But you can use it for normal PSP games...but if you use it for normal PSP games, what database will it use? The default pops database is 1kb...whilst the update cwcheat db was around 300kb...I'm so confused! Do I use revision "E" for POPS and revision "B" for normal games?

Ok, I'll bite...
I've followed the instructions to get passed my disc swap issue for MGS. The only difference I have here is that I have VGS instead of epsxe so my memory card format is different, but I also have PSXMemTool which supports all formats.
So I open my memory card file from my MS, convert it to VGS... load up the memcard on VGS, play through and swap the disc... save my progress. Open up my memory card again with PSXMemTool, convert it back to epsxe format. Rename the file to reflect the new slus number for the 2nd disc and place it accordingly in the folders for CWcheat.
I load up the 2nd disc pbp file and at the MGS start menu, I hold select to get CWCheat to show up and go down to mem card manager, select load mem card to slot 1, return to game... proceed to select Load Game on MGS menu, but under Slot 1 there is no File, for the heck of it I checked Slot 2, and nothing there either.
I feel I'm obviously doing something wrong, but I can't guess what. If someone can point it out great... if not, I'll load up epsxe tonight and see how it goes.

WOW, after screwing around with this for a few hours... I was finally able to fix my problem. I can't believe how lame the fix was.
The first save I created that was giving me the problem, when I saved the "Save" back to .mcr format using PSXMemTool, down at the file type I actually selected the epsxe format and just named my file.
Well, I thought I should try something different... what I did this time was leave it on "All supported formats" and just named the file and added the .mcr extension to the name.
And wouldn't you have it that it worked. I thought this was so stupid...
Anyways, people having problems where the file save isn't being loaded in cwcheat should try this workaround and see if it works for others.
The game I have been trying to get working is MGS and swapping to Disc 2.

no memory card? are you sure that your game work with pops? if it says no memory card the emulator isn't emulating correctly the memory cards.

You don't need to use a second controller to beat Mantis, after the 2nd or 3rd loss (continue), you will be able to shoot at the two Mantis Statues located at the top corners of the room. Break both statues and he will not be able to read your mind anymore.

try keeping pressed select in the psx boot screen till cwcheat opens up and load then. if it still don't work check that psxmemtool converted it to a mcr it seems that if you don't select mcr it writes the file in another format (also if you write mcr in the extension)

Managed to get cwcheat to work in the game. Converted the save file from gme file to mcr file format. Went to manage memory card to load the converted file and after awhile, game shuts down and have to reboot PSP back to XMB.
Not sure what is wrong now.

Hi all, im having some problems with this.

Hope this helps just to let you know my Game ID is SLUS-00594 and hears the epsxe save if you don't want to go through all that trouble. just put it in your mc folder in Cwcheat and load it.
i've download that but it's a bit weird since i looks like the save is cheated. i start in disk 2 with all guns an that but with the life bar and amount of rations like i was ins disk 1. and have a level 10 card? that takes away the fun of the game.
someone can please post another one?

well if the game says something like that then it isn't cwcheat fault. first try them with a pc emulator just to be sure

I did, They work with epsxe and i even downloaded another few saves for monster rancher 2, those didnt even show up... Has anyone else tried this with Sotn yet? cuz jeez this is freakin rediculous. The saves **** up when they are used with cwcheat.

Anyway my issue is the cheats themselves. (don't worry I can beat this without cheats on the hardest settings with no sleep and hopped up on morphene. (car accident dont ask) But for other people i let play my psp they need them. So any way to fix the cheats for this game. I mean a'll other cheats for all other games work like a charm. Perhaps you could add a DB file with cheats for all versions and all possible formats of this game it is pretty popular and the variations are many. No matter how many versions i use no matter how i put it in the DB no matter what I do in general the codes wont even show up in MGS. Castelvania no problem. Dino Crisis. No problem. Die Hard Trilogy no problem. Metal Gear Solid. HUGE PROBLEM!!! I know you can do it. And if you don't own a copy of the game. E-mail me and I can "loan" it to you by sending you my e-boot. But according to law you must delete it after 24 hours if you don't own the origional disk. But im sure 24 hours is all you need to crack this bad boy wide open. Thank you in advance.

actually a dump is enough to see if there is a problem. in any case i've the original PAL ITA disc.
ok looking on it did you notice the id is in lower case? sles_01508 this is your problem :P you must put the id with the correct case with mc it isn't a problem as fat isn't case sensitive

Weltall. You my friend are a god among coders everywhere. I can't believe the fix was that simple. I mean really Game ID's case sensetive. I woulda thought they were all capatalized anyway. Who knew? (besides you that is). Anyway thanks for the information. Keep up the good work.
Oh by the way. As mentioned before by many people across many forums. Now all we need is a auto updater for both pops and psp db files. on a dedicated server. And if you really wanna get fancy make it accessable from within the cwcheat menu via wifi. Or at the least downloadable from you pc. Anyway enough of the requests i know you must get tired of hearing them. But look on the bright side requests give way to ideas which improve the existing product. At least it's something to look into.

for the psp database there is a db download which you can execute from the 150 game folder (it's included).
for the pops db i don't think i will make it as i'm not mantaining a pops database the included one is just an example and considering there are big databases around the net (eh: game code creator club) and that mantaining the psp database is already a great problem i think that i wont mantain a pops one

you are surely using an old cwcheat (extremely old about 3+ version ago as they weren't locking the user from doing dumping if the mc wasn't found) and a never firmware 3.03 or 3.10 (w/popsloader plugin) and so you have a corrupt memory card. cwcheat makes mcr memory cards compatible with epsxe you just need to update cwcheat to the I revision to support all the emulator versions

Weltall has released a new version of his cheat application which is also compatible with the official PSX emulator. The major new feature of this release is that gamers can now load all your old game data to the PSP. Gamesaves from your PC or PSX/PS2 will be loadable on the PSP. Very cool stuff indeed!

Hey guys, this might be an obvious question.. I'm trying to get this working on my 4.01 M33-2 PSP. Everything's fine and dandy on my actual original PSP titles, but for my PSX games holding select doesn't do anything. I heard there was a problem with memory stick reading speeds, but both my standard disc-based and ripped iso PSP games work this way.. so I'm unsure what's making the PSX ones not work. Does anyone have a solution?

Guys my cheat list disappeared! When I try to go to the cheat menu it just shows a bunch of black lines. It worked before and I even downloaded CWCheat again and reinstalled the cheat files but nothing changed.
