Black screen on all PSX games except Hot Shots Golf 2

I seriously tried searching other threads but there has been no luck with my problem. Stayed up all night trying to fix it too but no luck

I tried several programs converting my IMG files to ISO/Bin and then use Popstation to convert it to Eboot.PBP. I have Base.PBP,Keys,Popstation,cygwin1.dll, Finalfantasytactics.iso. It converts to a 461mb Eboot.Pbp. Programs I used were UltraISO and MagicISO.

I transferred the Keys.bin file, Eboot.PBP file,Document.dat to PSP\Games\FFtactics. I go to my PSP menu, Games, load it up, boots to the PS1 warning screen, and then it stays black.

Games I tried so far: Castlevania:SOTN, FFtactics, FF anthology. I read many reports that this worked for people. Also I tried reformatting everytime and I made sure to have the 3.02 OE-B firmware.

People say MagicISO doesn't work well enough.

Also in Recovery mode, I made sure it was 3.02 kernal

use a program called "iso Buster" should work if you use that to rip to a raw bin/iso image.

i had the same problem until i used this program

You don´t have to convert .img files. Although it seems that a lot of games are probably not dumped correctly :)

i dont see how people are getting problems with MagicISO, ive used it lots of times and every time the games have booted into the actual game on the psp
