I wanna install that new OEB onto my 2nd PSP, but I have devhook 45 installed on it, and I can not exit it, no matter what I try, I've popped the batter, MS etc, tried exiting, and nothing it always boots to dev hook. Any ideas?

It seems that you have devhook to autoboot when you turn on your PSP.
Try holding power button up for 10 seconds to completely turn off the psp. Then take out the MS and turn it back on. There should then be no way of booting devhook as it is on your MS.

tried that, no dice, its hanging at a black screen, if I put the MS back in, it'll load devhook =(

EDIT: *REMOVED* Was just thinking, if you do that it could put you in an awkward position and will seem like a brick ...
Just also worth a shot. Some autoboot programs I have seen that if your hold L Trigger on boot it'll bypass the autoboot. Worth a try I guess.
Does your psp have 1.50 Custom FW? Try holding R Trigger on boot.
Also check ms0:/PSP/SYSTEM for some sort of config file. Could be loading DH from there. If so, then open it and paste contents here.
EDIT2: I was just thinking, although this is not the case here because it 'bricks' when there is no mem stick, you could get in a REALLY awkward situation if you had DH on 1.5 without custom FW and flashed all DH files to flash0 aswell as modding the flash to always boot DH, lol ... that would suck...

have you flashed anything in the menu flash settings?

I cant find a USB mode thing within devhook. but I also tried putting in my 4GB MS, and it just sat there, trying to read it.
Also loaded a game onto the MS, that uses 1.5FW, but I cant get that to load, was hopeing I could get the game to load, and then hit home to exit
but nopers =(

Does it boot into DH Menu or the emulated FW?
If it goes to DH Menu then launch the emulation and go to the USB mode there.

I cant get it to emulate anything, when I try it hangs, however I found a config file, and here it is:
################################################## ########
##Configuration file for Harleyg's custom firmware patch##
################################################## ########
# Set to true to run non kxploited eboots (1.00).
nokxploit = true;
# Set to true to hide corrupted icon, may cause slowdown.
hidecorrupt = true;
# Set to true to skip the Sony intro and stop auto exec of umd.
skiplogo = true;
# Hold left trigger to boot into last used firmware on devhook
devhook = "ms0:/PSP/SYSTEM/DEVBOOT.PBP";
# Set this to the application you want to start when holding X on boot (add # to remove)
autoboot = "ms0:/PSP/GAME/pspvba/EBOOT.PBP";
# Extra PRX's to load on boot.
#loadmodule0 = "ms0:/PSP/SYSTEM/AIOMod.prx"
#loadmodule0 = "blahblah"
#loadmodule2 = "blahblah"
#loadmodule3 = "blahblah"
#loadmodule4 = "blahblah"
#loadmodule5 = "blahblah"
#loadmodule6 = "blahblah"
#loadmodule7 = "blahblah"
#loadmodule8 = "blahblah"
#loadmodule9 = "blahblah"
when I installed this I used that chaos zero installer for it, but as to flashing anything, I'm not sure.

ok, I got it to emuate 2.71 FW and I got into the XMB, how ever I cant figure out how to just get it to run the normal 1.5 FW. Devhook says that the PSP's FW is 1.5. Theres an uninstall exe on the MS's root, think its safeto run that and uninstall the thing?

try the following in the config file...
################################################## ########
##Configuration file for Harleyg's custom firmware patch##
################################################## ########
# Set to true to run non kxploited eboots (1.00).
nokxploit = true;
# Set to true to hide corrupted icon, may cause slowdown.
hidecorrupt = false;
# Set to true to skip the Sony intro and stop auto exec of umd.
skiplogo = false;
# Hold left trigger to boot into last used firmware on devhook
#devhook = "ms0:/PSP/SYSTEM/DEVBOOT.PBP";
# Set this to the application you want to start when holding X on boot (add # to remove)
#autoboot = "ms0:/PSP/GAME/pspvba/EBOOT.PBP";
# Extra PRX's to load on boot.
#loadmodule0 = "ms0:/PSP/SYSTEM/AIOMod.prx"
#loadmodule0 = "blahblah"
#loadmodule2 = "blahblah"
#loadmodule3 = "blahblah"
#loadmodule4 = "blahblah"
#loadmodule5 = "blahblah"
#loadmodule6 = "blahblah"
#loadmodule7 = "blahblah"
#loadmodule8 = "blahblah"
#loadmodule9 = "blahblah"
That SHOULD work. Post your results.
EDIT: Unfortunetally, I have to go. Good luck. That should work...
Your using harleyg's custom firmware. Is your wlan switch set to off? If it is, switch it to the on position, it should boot to 1.5 then.

no, that didnt work, it just kept wanting to reboot into devhook.
I tried that uninstall executable, and it removied almost everything, but now when I turn on the PSP, it reads from the MS, then small text appears at the top saying it cant boot devhook, and it tries over and over again. fortunatly I backed up the MS before uninstalling

using the wlan swtch worked, perfectly, thanks
is there a way to remove harleyg's custom firmware completely form the PSP?
You should be able to using the recovery mode, to enter it using harleyg's; turn off your PSP, and then turn it on again with the 'Hold' switch on. However, you dont really need to remove it if your installing 3.02OE, it's a clean install.
