is there a way to have internet connection sharing and for psul to work too? because with ics on, we always get the cant bind socket error. and it is so troublesome to have to change it all the time. i have an usb modem and 1 nic. thanks a lot in advance.

you can't, ICS uses port 53, no way around it.

Arakon that is not true. If you use WinRoute Lite, you get your internet shared AND you can play GC iso's. I use it now. The only thing you have to do is hook your gamecube on a SEPERATE network card than your home network. So go and buy a new card.

we were talking about standard ICS, not using another software.. extra software eats up resources etc.

I got a few questions...
1) I use Zonealarm for a firewall... and obviously I can only make the GC go online through my PC with the firewall disabled... could I get around that somehow? I'm a bit of a n00b when it comes to firewalls, but I assume I'd just have to open the port that ICS uses right? Do you know what port it uses?
2) Any way to disable ICS via command line? I'm asking this because then I can just make an icon to disable it every time I need to (say I wanna play PSO...) instead of going through the long process...

zonealarm is trash, just deinstall it.

Heh I'm the paranoid type who needs his computer secure ;)
I did uninstall it tho, cause it was beginning to be a pain in the ass... if anyone can recommend another firewall that works with ICS, I'll be forever thankful :)

WinRoute Lite takes about 1.9MB RAM and it works perfectly. You don't have to set it up on client side, just server side and your GameCube will work AND your internet on other pc/xbox whatever. Please stop talking out of ur nose :)

If it's all XXX you should use delay settings. Try using WinRoute Lite and your iso with d10 f10. It should work.

i tried many different delay and frequency settings already and still no go... everything is just fine without winroute lite installed... even if i disable the winroute lite engine it still doesnt transfer properly...
