Confirmed FULLY/PARTIALY FUNCTIONAL:
- 1.00/1.50 eboots ( Make sure to apply the fix that can be found below. )
- 2.xx/2.71 eboots ( Remember theres no such thing as 3.xx eboots YET! )
- ISO/CSO loading from XMB (no-umd as well)
- MP3 Visualizer
- Video Player
- Photo Viewer
- System Settings ( Power Save menu cannot be accessed, also causes first time run problems. )
- UMD Auto-Start Setting
- USB Connection ( Mass Storage )
- WiFi ( in game, as there is nowhere else to use it. )
- Anything that has yet to be mentioned.

the ISO/CSO loading from XMB is it we can load those iso in 3.01 xmb??

1) yes they load just like normal.

2) install like normal, devhook has nothing to do w/ this.

1) the same compatibility that was in 2.71 SE-C
2) yes, read the readme.txt on re-flashing se-c if you decide you want to go back.
3) in the works is an alternate edition, where we may disable videos or another option to get web browser working as an alternative for other users :)

I'll just use devhook in that case.Yep, no webbrowser is a real drawback. So i stay with 2.71c/2.81 hybrid. But obviously, there are not many people using their PSP as a portable webbrowser ... ;)

also if a 3.01 game comes out it should run straight out of the iso dir in the xmb?
and just to be safe: recovery mode still there right?:)

yes, you will have to patch the eboot though once the installation is done (see the readme.txt for information on how to do this) but i personally tested it and it works 100%.

please, read the readme before asking 4 different questions.

@sonyuser... you shouldnt touch this if you dont know what you are doing or talking about.. this is a highly risky procedure.. and i suggest you need to have further reading.. you do have an SE-C right? you know how to recover? if all is yes then do the instructions carefully.. and all will be well...

First installation - semi brick. Recovery of 2.71 SEC, second try - same result. After injection of 3.01 the screen stays blank and the PSP stays blank every time I try to restart. Any ideas?

nice work guys but i am sticking to devhooking 3.01. this is just way too much trouble for a plain visualisation. But keep up the good work. i hope you can iron out all the bugs if possible.

nah u can still have 0.51 and tis together....is just overite the 2.71sec and u can still use 0.51 to emulate another 3.01 and use it web browser feature and all others..

It is possible to launch PRX like browse or wifi in the flash1 ?

Your mod is very good but it is possible to creat an installer with the choise of PRX like Music Video etc if you don't used it

I extracted the DATA.PSAR, then ran the PSARDumper/Decrypter, then placed the files and run the 3.01 installer.

ok, happy to see this is out... unhappy about the name kando! i agree with others this isn't 3.01SE! this is 2.71 SE mod.if you could just cange the name...

anyway for allquestions we are here.

for non working problems, two things are very very important, prefer a fresh se-c install before installing this and secondly make sure you pressed square when decrypting the 3.01 data.psar

everything runs fine and the homebrew problem is quickly and easily repaired. have fun everyone

well ryt now theres no point for me to update lol whats the use some games only read the FW ver so if the ver is 2.71 how can we play a 3.0 or evn a 2.80 game?......

all the games are compatible for the moment apart from socom2 online (but that can be fixed).

make sure you have a vshmain.prx (99kb) inside the seplugins folder and make sure it's activated in recovery menu

Please leave the name 3.01 SE, this will be confusing if Dark_Alex release a clean 3.01 SE :( , i also think taht he should be the only one to use the term SE, but hey just my two cents here :p

I sucessefuly instaled this mod in my FRESH SE-C but I can't load any ISO/CSO. I enabled the vshmain.prx plguin and I can lauch Homebrew! I think the problem is with the isos, but I tested more than one.

I need to "patch" the param.sfo of the ISO also? or i need this only for the homebrew?

ps: the ISO is lauched then a black screen appears and PSP reboots..

ok, i've got a couple of things to say

firstly i quite agree that the name isn't to my liking either even if i'm part of the team. unfortunately i haven't talked to the rest of the team of what i think of the name but i hope we'll change it soon.

secondly, concerning the "bugs", the installer we have come out with has the same functions as my manual hybrid firmware. We never said that the browser would be fixed (not at first anyway) and the only real bug is that. just the browser. as for ps1 emulation, well it hasn't gotten to work on devhook yet has it? no, good.

thirdly, regarding the iso/cso bug that doesn't load games, there isn't a bug, the bug comes from the user not the installer. the compatability is the same as SE-C.

now people can use this to have a bit of fun with a 3.00 vsh on se-c and still use devhook or they can stick with what they already have and use devhook. it's up to them, when i first created the flashed hybrid se-c (with help from FWi) i did it for my personal amusement and i'm sticking with it until something better comes along. when i released the instructions for manual install and when the installer was released, everything was clear as to what this mod did, if people really wanted to keep the sce browser, there was no point installing this. it's a choice, I first did it for myself and thought some would like it too so i released the instructions and we then released the installer. if you don't like it you're entitled to your opinion, i like it, i'm not the only one and everything works perfectly fine for me.

My iso's don't show up at all. Anything that could've gone wrong?
I went back to 271SEC and then re-installed but still no luck.
My FW also just say's just 271 (without extension) is that supposed to be?
