tehskeen.net seems to be the best spot for GC files. you will have to register for downloads. Unplug the GC and plug in the USB cable from chip to computer, computer will detect chip and it should light up showing its made a connection. Lauch the flasher software, let it detect the chip and banks. select the update flash and write to a bank.. if it appears to have frozen wait a few min it will come back and you will have your nicely flashed GC.

Make sure you have WinRAR (http://rarlabs.com/) or another program that is able to open .RAR files.
UnRAR the file (its at the link posted in the previous post) to your desktop or anywhere else that you can remember.
In the uncompressed folder, there should be an orange icon that has says "qoob" in it. PRIOR to running the flasher program (double clicking that icon), connect your QP to your computer via the USB cable that came with your QP package.
After running the qoob flasher program (qoob-flash-13.exe, included in that .RAR file you downloaded), Click on the "Connect to Cube" button. Give it a sec to read the info on your QP. When the status at the bottom of the window says "QOOB OK!", click on the "Erase" button. Select the BIOS block(s) in the first two blocks and erase that. When it's done erasing, click on the "Write" button, select the qoob_13c.gcb file, and then select the FIRST BLOCK to write the BIOS to. Allow the flashing program to finish flashing the new BIOS before clicking "Disconnect" and disconnecting your QP from your computer.

put the disc in the system before you push the GCN's power button.
if you still get the 'disc read error', you might have to try another Qoob BIOS version. Failing that, a POT adjustment.

...looks like you did not flash the BIOS properly...it looks like you missed a step.
To reiterate:
Now, make sure that a game, albeit retail or backup, is in the Cube prior to startup. If, and only if, the proper Qoob BIOS does not show (it should say Qoob BIOS 1.3c on the screen somewhere), then you might have the wrong BIOS flashed. Keep in mind that the stock or other BIOSes downloaded directly from Qoobchip.com cannot play backups and to a point retail games.
If all else fails, it may seem that the Qoob Pro may be too advanced for you. You might consider the XenoGC or DuoQ as a direct boot alternative, so you don't have to worry about installing BIOSes and whatnot.
