Hi folks, im testing with FWIs new hybrid 3.0 version the new video playback capabilities from inside the VIDEO folder on the root of the MS and im not sure if it's a problem with FWIs firmware hacking or if Sony is again on it's (lets make every standard incompatible trip) but trying to playback .mp4 from Google Video don't work anymore they working fine in 2.82 devhook emulated but in the hybrid 2.71/3.00 v2 they don't they are recognized as correct files but as soon as you try to play them they show [This video cannot be played], somehow i doubt that Sony decided to make other customer resolution Videos unplayable again with 3.00 so i think it's the Hybrid 2.71 core [The Sony made way] Videos work fine.

Could somebody test this if he has the 3.0 (original) firmware if Google Videos work from inside the VIDEO folder ?

Good work FWI sooner or later we gonna crack this **** video pixel limitation @ the XMB level too :)

@birdman
hmm is it correct if i assume that your hacked firmware just incs itself into the boot process after the actual kernel is loaded from the flash so all /kd modules on the MS get overiden in the memory by the 2.71 flash0/kd ones ?
so a newer avcodec.prx is never used also because it isn't sigchecked (module loading gets denied and flash0/kd module from 2.71 gets used instead ?)
is their somekind of datagram of the psps boot process somewhere on the net ?

while using devhook 0.51 to emulate 3.01...i put a VIDEO folder on the root, and downloaded a video formated for psp from video.google.com..and it works flawless.

man, video is soo easy to put on psp now..i remember back with 1.50. lol.

video doesnt even have to have a special name anymore, lol.
