Hi,

Are any of you out there able to get the loader to work when connected to a Linksys Wireless G Broadband router?

I have enabled DMZ using 192.168.1.100, but no luck.

I can get the loader to work on my laptop with a crossover cable, but all of my games are on my main PC so I would like to connect to the Linksys with a regular cable.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

I can do one better then that. I have a BEFSR41 on the GameCube side of the network (the entire house is wired) and a WRT54G on the computer side of the network (this one heads provides the gateway out to the internet). I have been able to load 2 games (all I've tried so far) over this connection. I did have to change the settings on the routers to match the 192.168.1.X subnet to setup the PSO account. But after that I moved everything back to subnet I was using before (10.1.1.X) I've used the "GC Disc Server ver. 1.2.1" by CitizenX / ParadoX. It loaded SW Rouge Squad 3 fine and also loaded Luigi's Mansion (although it was the PAL version and just scrolled). I loaded these from a disk image and will next try loading from 3 images burned to a DVD. Oh, I should also mention that there is a generic 10/100 D-Link Switch right before the GC that connects the other game systems and the Tivo. I had no problems.
I also tried Graveyard's GC loader. While it did find the GC I didn't get anything loaded. I think I needed to pull the memory card sooner since the two games I was trying would hang during initial load if I left the memory card in. But it was getting late and I was tired of messing around with the programs. I also didn't get a chance to try anything out today.
But I did read on another site (cubehack.com) that the linksys routers may slow things down a bit. However, I've not had any such problems (that I could tell anyway).

I'm using this router with the latest firmware but haven't tried to test it with the exploit. I'm using a second network card in one PC. I told the router to hand out 192.168.0.x addresses so it's on a different subnet from my static GC network :)

The router has one cable running all the way up through the house, so I'd hate to move everything closer or run more cables to test another setup :(

I've got that exact router, I got it to work. You do have to set your network adapter to half duplex... that should fix it... besides your vague, what exactly is going wrong?

HOpe that helps

If you need help just PM me, I'm Net+ certified

Well using any tool (other than GC Disc Server 1.3-1.4) The Starcube loader is sent, but when I press 'Start' it gets stuck at Loading....

When I disable my inet and plug the gc in with a crossover cable, it works perfectly :)

But sadly I like to be on the internet at the same time as running cube games :(

any help would be great., thanks :)
