I just bought an UTP CAT5 Ethernet cable but it doesn't fit for the port of the modem
it's too big ...

is there two different Nintendo Modem ?

I don't understand at all

You didnt bought the right Adaptor. Ninetendo released to kinds of adaptors: MODEM ADAPTOR, BROADBAND ADAPTOR (BBA). It seems like you bought a modem adaptor, but you need the BBA.
