Is there anyway to update XenoGC to 2.0

i've got XenoGC 1.01 and i heard that new XenoGC 2.0 is out with the same hardware as before but new code inside.
is there anyway to update old xenogc to newer 2.0 ?
maybe not possible by software but is there anyway to solder directly to the chip and reprogram it ?
