It will take a while if ever before we see a 1.3 More than likely datel are having trouble figuring out how to make it all work... Roms are not exactly a "big" deal to me though but it would be nice just to see star fox command, without chunking the big dollars to see if it is crap as others say...

"Datel are trying to make it work"??? have they taken over the max overload project or something?

Inside joke.. the thinking back in the day when it was released it was speculated that mushroomb and kingpin were datel employees, due to the strange nature of how max overload came to be

I'm actually not to concerned with the mmd and MO, Yes it was nice to play some games and try them out b4 buying them but the real reason that i got the mmd was for mp3 and movie play on my nds, but since i really being able to play the games b4 buying them i decided to buy me a supercard cf just for that reason so i suggest others to do the same if thats all you really want to do.

For the optomistic:
It could be best to wait, because I would think that they maybe waiting to get Zelda HourGlass Whatever to boot, so perhaps thats why they put it off.
For the Pessimistic:
I agree, because its also what i have done, is get a Super Card CF and use your Max Media Launcher/Player. It works with more homebrew, and it sticks out at the bottom. YAY!

yeh, i have a lite but i have a 4gb Cf and a passcard (datels) so it makes sense to buy a supercard CF and format my card, but the main problem for me is that it sticks out, so it doesn't look appealling.
My other option is to buy a minisd card and the mini supercard, so then i can use the minisd with my wii via the adaptor and it doesn't stick out of the Lite as much and fits flush in my fat one. - its more expensive though.
I can also get a supercard micro - but they're quite expensive.
I'm gonna have a look at the cyclops range that are coming out - they look good and maxconsole say they are cheap.:)
going back to the topic though, a new release of MO wud be great because then iwudn't have to get a supercard- unless the GBA side of it pulls me towards it.

Where did you find the supercard cf? Everywhere I look I see supercard SD which I of course don't want when I have a CF card here lol.
Please let me know. Thanks!

Sadly, yes i have also looked for another Supercard CF and do you know what i found? Nothing, it would seem that the Supercard CF is out of the hands of its creators, perhaps they stopped making them for some other reason, but i would bet its the NDS LITE and people don't want them sticking out that much.

well, i can't say im really frustrated about Max overload cuz i didn't even know it existed when i bought my MMD, i would like to get a 1.3 because, to be honest even though i bought MMD for music, it would still be nice to play some newer games on it.
but right now, im actually more frustrated about Datel not giving the .gba homebrew support on the MMD than i am about there not being an MO 1.3

It seems everyone who has it won't tell, and everyone who doesn't have it is still asking. But I know you can download 1.0 on this here site, but for 1.2 I don't know... I'm still googling it over and over again.
EDIT: I found MO 1.2, downloaded Trauma Center (I wanted to download something newer, like Lunar Knights, but I figured I'd start here). It works like a charm. Freakin awesome if you ask me. But 1.3 would be better, just for added support.

Yeah I just found it. It was hell to find, but it worked great when I played an older game (Truama Center, it's not too great of a game, but MO worked good.). I'm happy, and my boredom is temprorily relieved.

a few things.
1. Yay! Ive been sigged ^^
2. rntgamer: dont post in dead topics with something that isnt helpful. sorry if i sound lame but im surprised you havent already been flamed.
3. Those who want MO 1.2: Download the attachment.
4. Anyone who is gonna buy another NDS Flash card, get an R4DS. They're exactly the same as an M3 Simply because M3 just pay to rebrand them. if you go on www.mod-chip.com and use their price promise, you can get one for much less by linking to www.bamboogaming.com(not sure if thats the address, just google it), yet you only pay ~£3 (bout $5USD i think) in shipping. Then go to www.play.com and you can get a 2GB MicroSD/TransFlash card for £29.99
5. Dont give me **** for giving prices in GBP. I live in the UK. go to www.xe.com/ucc to convert it. They update their rates every minute.

@Pedro: OK, I uploaded it as an attachment to that post, and instead of uploading it somewhere else, I put a link in my sig to the file the attachment links to.
@rntgamer: The cracked version was released for the GBAMP. Its just a copy of Max Overload 1.0 with a different BG. Just download the attachment i posted above for MO 1.2.

I downloaded the Maximum Overload 1.3 at GBATemp this guy is referring to, and it is definitely different from Max Overload 1.2. (The NDS programming, not the PC patcher.)
For starters, CRENF games don't come up on the list as a garbled entry, they come up how they're supposed to be. However, when you go to start a game (I've tried Digimon Championship and Monster Farm 2 Japanese versions, both of which are CRENF games) the loader freezes. Games also show up on the list without a PAT file for them present.
I'll try a few more games and see what happens, and report back.
EDIT Forgot to mention that if this does run any CRENF games, you will need a donor cart for them.
