FlashMe- Advantages and Disadvantages

I want to flash my DSL after my two year warranty from BestBuy, and after I buy a second DSL after the warranty ends.

Best Buy warranty is the most abusable thing for small-cost electronics like the DS. Flash it to your heart's content, then take it back in 2 years and get a new one.

yeah...no matter what if it breaks bestbuy will usually replace it...so yeah just flash it...and if somethign does go wrong take it back...Hell if you get a big scratch on it...brick it and take it back anyways

can you unflash it after you flash it? but what are the advantages of doing so? that features do you get and what features get restricted

You can't properly unflash a DS Lite, the noflashme software replaces the flashme with the original DS firmware (from a DS Phat) that was dumped in the first place to create flashme firmware. If you flash a Lite with noflashme, pictochat won't function properly I believe, and brightness levels will go too. It should be possible to have a Lite version of noflashme as there are flashme versions that support the brightness levels in the Lite, but I'm not aware if it exists yet.
