I got games to load and everything (props to pdx and eur), but I have a PAL gamecube connected to my pc via tv-in card. If I load a Jap or a US game I get only black and white, no colors. I tried all the settings of the capture software nothing works, still get B&W picture.
The video card is a nvidia myvivo TI-4400. B&W looks a bit old-fashion for the gamecube :)
Any idea how to resolve this ?

This may sound stupid, but it sounds like your TV card is set to PAL mode. Now I do not have a TV card, but is there anywhere in the TV card config to set it to NTSC (or '60Hz')? (You'd have to set it back to PAL to watch TV of course).
The black and white thing happens on some older TV's too, where it's trying to run an NTSC signal in PAL... NTSC processes colours differently and isn't compatible (which is the difference between NTSC and PAL 60Hz).

I couldnt find that option, the only option I have is in capture mode I can switch to pal, secam or ntsc ,but I loose the colors in all mode. Only in ntsc the image is stable in the two other mode the image flickers.
it happens at the moment pdx loader is loaded.

There are 2 floors between the tv and the pc so I'd like to find a way to play 'on my pc'
(tv is too heavy to move and pc is too messy to move too)

Your problem is with NTSC/PAL settings, if you can't find where to change it on ur TVCard interface, you either have a bad brand TVCard or you just can't find it. In either case your only option is to play it on the tv, to do this you need a tv and a long network cable if your tv is 2 floors down, so my posts aren't wasting your time, probably wasting my time explaining this to you though.

What kind of cable are you using to connect it to your TV card anyway? A/V cables might not be able to process the NTSC picture.

Basic video cable from the gamecube
(read: the one that come in the box)
Would a vga box solve the problem ?

Well the basic cable that comes with the 'cube doesn't support NTSC I don't think... I'm pretty sure you would need a full-on RGB SCART cable for that... althought I'd assume a VGA box would work too.

maybe the vga cable could work for you
