I was reading a post at http://scdev.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4448 and it was takling about alite allowing you to change the brightness level for Supercards and keeping the brightness level at a lower setting when playing games. Anyone know? I doesn't change the brightness level for me :(

never mind, it only works if the power is unplugged, when using the ac adapter it goes to level 4 and can't be changed

Alite works fine for me ... even on a flashed NDSLite+SCLite and even if the AC power adapter are plugged in.
Only one thing: Alite changes the brightness level temporarly ... means after switching off and on again, the b.level from setup will be restored.

i would that is a feature not a draw back...See i assume that anyone can deal with brightness 2-3....And only need 4 in extreme situations...So why not put the firmware on 2 or 3 and use alite to run brightness 4
