Aeropause spent a little while playing on Doom which recently hit XBLA, James happily confirms that the newly added 4-player multi support works like a charm and has even provided a few videos.

Spent a big piece of my evening playing Doom co-op on Live Arcade. I'm happy to report that 4-player online co-op ran perfect all evening. I've put together a few videos of the co-op gameplay, just in-case anyone's on the fence about a purchase. I recommend it, just be prepared to use your own music, those Doom tunes haven't held up over time.

I think Doom is really dissapointing for the 360. The Demo gives you one level, the PC demo from 13 years ago at least gave you a full episode to play. It does look better than the Jaguar version of Doom though.

You're way better off just getting one OpenGL updated Doom engines that are out there on the internet and playing it on your PC.

ZildjianKX you go right ahead and get the opengl version... oh and have fun connecting to your buddys.. while your at it play some 4 player online Co-op with voice support with your friends... oh and run it at 1080i with 5.1 surround sound...

it plays decent regardless of the PC versions... if you dont like it dont play it...

Doom 3 for Xbox has Doom and Doom 2 with 4player co-op support. Granted it's not online, but why is this so great?

I like it, It does remind me alot of the Jaguar version but a bit better and the LiVE play kicks ass.

I have to try this out. I love playing it on my DS and with online 360 it could be even better.
