Ok, I flashed my hitachi 46dd with opa 2_1 sucsessfuly. When I put my friends backup in my 360 (he has a pioneer 111D and the backup works on his hitachi), it says *unrecognized disc* right in the dasboard after 10 seconds?
What factors lead up to the *unrecognized disc* error. Thanks in advance.

the media is verbatim. How often does peole get bad flashes for the hitachi?
I have same problem on Samsung with extreme3.3 FW and Pioneer 110 1.39FW and Memorex media. The game is Blazing.Angels.Squadrons.of.WWII.PAL.PROPER.XBOX36 0-DNL... :(

is that the only game that gives that error? if so try reburning it at a slower speed... no faster then 2.4x
if nothing works then its a bad flash..

I have the hitachi in my xbox360 and i find that as long as i burn with my pioneer111D and its burnt to traxdata media on 2-2.4 speed i have no problem at all, everyone goes in first time no problem (unless i've used a bad .ss file) i've heard that vertabim have a good dual layer disc out but i've never tried that i just stick with the traxdata and im usually ok
I found where is my problem... I used old CloneCD version(old version cant read .dvd files and if i connect bin file only my backup not working). If i download last version all backups works fine on my Hitachis Gary OPA 2.1FW ... On samsung drive is something problems with read but isnt problem :)

i used a memorex dual layer and burned saints row. i booted once with nme, and it never booted again. keep getting dirty disc error. is it my nme installation or the memorex disc? should i use verbatim disc instead? If so, where can i order Verbatim media at the best price?
