Confirmation that FIFA 07 for the Xbox 360 will skimp on playable leagues and some stadia comes by way of the official EA website. The 'next gen' version of FIFA will come with just SIX leagues, whereas the one for PS2/Xbox 1 will feature all 28. I doubt many of us go beyond the Premiership, Italian and top flight Spanish leagues but still it would've been nice to have them all available especially on a next-gen system.

what is the reasoning behind this then? surely its not down to the storeage space on dvd? are they just plain lazy?
Some of the first gen 360 games, tiger woods amd a few others, didnt have as many courses as the xbox ones, i guessed this was down to rushing the product out but theres no excuse now.

you should have mentioned in the topic that even the DS version seems to have more leagues!.
A next gen exclusive for M$, im sure 360 fans are very happy about that now. No doubt xbox FIFA07 wont be backwards compatable either, wonder why?! .

how about you email ms and ask them, oh yeah cause they didnt make the game. why do people always say its ms's fault for a game issue, try the company that made the game. Is it microsofts fault if photoshop has a bug, or how about 3d max?

I would guess its a space issue on the DVD, i think it will be awhile before devolopers learn to compress the games better for the 360. i think only DVD game support could end up been its biggest downfall, at least for the first few years anyway.

its not that, never in a million years would a football game be too big for a dual layer disk. No previous gen fifa game has been over 3gig, adding bettter textures and high def movies doesnt add another 5gig and if it does, then i think lowering the definition of the movies would be preferable to chopping the actual game down.
EA should hang for this but as usual, the morons will buy fifa in their millions year after year.

Actually if you look around the last FIFA06 game for the 360 was over 7gig with multi lang.

all 360 games are 7gig ish if you look at the rips online i agree, but that doesnt mean they need all that space, the earlier non xtreme rips, including fifa06 world cup came in at a gig or so more than their xbox1 version.
