Why is there is only ever one opponent on the screen? :confused:

The sword part is misleading it shows the spinning of the sword and placing in the holster as if the actor is doing it when they are not. Itdoesnt show what movments they are using for the sword fights, actually it looks like a left/right slice for each sword and you can do a block.

There's only one opponent on the screen because you can't count higher.
I'm not sure what you mean by it looks like it's only left/right slices for the swords. The red slash marks show various angles. Ubisoft themselves has already anounced that the sword slashing angle will emulate the player's movement.
If you hate these promotional videos, then you probably hate every advertisement ever made. I love chasing leprachauns before breakfast.

I'm still dissappointed in how the game looks/moves. It seems like it'll be a fun fps, but it is nothing like the original trailer Ubisoft showed. The textures, gun animations, targeting system, and some other things have been improved. The character models and movement look flat compared to the original trailer.

Just noticed it used to have the retarded "circle around curser to move" turning system. I wonder if that's why metroid was delayed because they're working on ways to get rid of that putrid system. On a side note, doesn't that kid look like a young Mr. Bean.

Also, whoever said there's always only 1 guy on the screen at a time. It's just the scenes they chose to show in this trailer. The trailer from the German show had 3+ guys on the screen, esp when you were on the streets.

every game that gets posted in video is going to get some PS3/MS fanboy saying it looks like **** just becasue it isnt on par with the best FPS on their machine, we all know thats not possible since the PS3/360 have so much more power, so why do these morons feel that have to repeat themselves over and over?

This looks good to me, im not a huge fan of FPS but im tempted to get this, ill wait for reviews first ofcourse. GFX wise i think it looks good and as far as im concerned, its far more impressive than the RidgeRacer movie for the PS3.

Having an abacus wouldn't help if all you can count is one, one, one. You might be able to multiply and divide, but that's about it.
You are right, though. You only see him fighting one opponent at a time, since you can't fight multiple opponents at the same time. That would require dual wielding with separate aiming.

The functionality and game is awesoooooome, but the guy playing it is a complete loser. Who plays like that....no one that I know. I don't need to jump behind my armchair, to play metroid 3 either, like the guy flying with the nunchuk does :D , also the red steel moves are like on tennis, small moves do trick too, or short arms would be on trouble. :eek:
People speculating for soemthing is noit out yet is a lsomething, but the reality coems when the console goes out, so the commands, mvoes, limits, speed of move :D , etc all will be discussed when many players experiment the console at home, an not only 5 min on a show.

I think the game is looking pretty good though we are seeing a tiny tisy bitty screen. Like digital cameras, when you resample/resize down everything looks awesome. We'll see. I think it will look fine but not anywhere near what ps3/360 will pull off.

As for the guy, yeah, maybe I wouldn't play like that, but I gotta say that guy is F*CKING HOT! My god, what a walking definition of pretty much *exactly* my type. Maybe a bit taller than the ideal but I sure would take 9.95 out of 10 any day.

And yes, I am gay :-P
