mtkflash not detcting my sata ports

hi
i have a motherboard with 4 sata ports and i have ich6 chipset and i am trying to flash my samsung drive with fw25 but when i type in the mtkflash command in dos all i get is
1 ide primary slave
2 ide sec master
no sata ports show up ive tried to to set the port options in bios but with no luck.
anyone got any ideas?

yeah ive tried all kinds of commands but nothing.
ive looked in my msinfo and this is what is says

its definately ms25

if your using the kit then leave all the buttons up.

the primary sata master should be on the motherboard port 1.

did you set in bios compatable mode and choose primary sata+sec ide?

the mtkflash should be an unmodified one but that isnt a prob,you got to get primary sata showing in the options.have you made sure the leads are in properly to the drive and the sata port.and that your turning on the power to the xbox360 if your using it.

im not using the kit just a sata cable straight from the drive to the pc and in my bios all my options are greyed out on sata ports.

are the raid drivers installed for the sata?and is the scsi contollers enabled and working properly.

check by going.
mycomputer/manage/device manager/scsi raid controllers and see in there by clicking properties.

it might be like some motherboards come with a floppy with the drivers on it and you gotta install them.

yeah everything is installed and working fine because my hardrive is sata and thats working, but what i have just noticed is where it says fw ms25 that is a sticker and i have just peeled it a little and found underneath it says ms22 or do they all say that?
i think my problem is my motherboard it is an intel 915 express with ich6.
edit my motherboard is an nec GA-8I915PMD known as the sunshine ddr

right this is no what i get
when i do the mkflash i get these options
1 ich6 pri master
2 ich6 pri slave
3 ich6 sec master

if i press 2 and 3 nothing happens but if i press 1 i get
err: fail to open input file

any ideas anyone?

what are you trying to flash with.cant open input file are you sure everything you need is on the floppy your using?
mtkflash(unmodified)you have to use unmodified.
mtkflash.typ.
xtreme firmware.
kdx42 v1.3(if you use xtreme20.bin you can use it for patching key from orig.bin to xtreme20.bin)i think it also works with xtreme30.bin.

i would have said idealy i would have wanted:
primary master 1.
primary slave 2.
ich6 primary master 3.

its like scanning the sata ports and not the ide ports cos where are the ide?like the sata is all enabled and not ide,like you realy need to switch something in bios and it aint done.one of the ide connections on the motherboard is a primary master but it aint showing up.

have you got any ide leads on the motherboard,with devices installed.

the files i have on the floppy is all the startup files, mtkflash.exe mtkflash.typ, extreme.bin and extreme.0800

if i use and unmodified mtkflash i get ide shown but if i use a modified mtkflash i get to see my chipsets, i have also just had a little fiddle in my bios settings and
in dos
ich6p came up as an option but still nothing there must be something small i must be missing.

and ive tried this too
make sure you drive is connected to this 1 ich6 pri master.

When you get the option to press 1,2,or 3 power off the 360 then press 1 and imediately power on 360 again still nothing.

ive managed to backup my fw i missed out the space after 'R' when typing 'MTKFLASH R /M ORIG.BIN'
it read to 100% 4 times before saying reboot pc i thought it was 3 times?
