If I left my DSLite screen open with low light settings, would something go wrong? Image gets burnt on? Pixels start dying? Other problems?

I think I should revise my question.
Is the DS Lite like the PSP that if you leave the screen on the same image too long, the image will be burnt onto the screen? sort of like arcades that leave their machines on for a long time, and you can see a faint "Please Insert Coin" message when its not suppose to be there.

So far, I haven't met anyone who has that problem. Even my friend's old phat DS screen are still okay and no burning whatsoever.

Also, if you do have a flashcart, there is a app out there that runs through the RGB color wheel VERY fast. Which should fix the problem.

The one advantage of LCD technology is that is does NOT burn a image in the screen (unlike technology like Plasma). Pixels can die over time, but that takes MANY YEARS, and your DS (unless it works like the NES) will probably not be functional before there is time for that to happen.

Yeah, I idle on IRC on my DS overnight on several occasions, and I've never had any problems with my screen. It's a phat DS, though, if there's a difference.

so i can run moonshell with the cover open all night to listen to music, and nothing would happen to the screen?

Have to say, I've never heard of that app, Mr_Cow. What is it called/where can one find it, if needed?
