In a way I would love it if a non-sticking out flashcart for the gba slot could be produced by the same team providing the ds-x does well, so you could have a good set for palying gba and ds games. I think size wise the team could manage it, and it could sell well against the g6lite, as I imagine such a piece of hardware would be a gba cart with a mini usb port in it.

Alternatively there could be a very mini usb cable that winds from the ds-x to the gba slot, but this would be using up more of the precious 512mb space on the cart.

I read somewhere that there is already is one (not flush, normal size) and when you have both of them inserted you can run gba games from the ds xtreme

Your thinking about the ds-link which can run gba games if you have the gba-link in slot2... i dont doubt some bright spark will just make a gba emulator sooner or later...
