360 or ps3

Hey wassup im new here.I am saving money for next generation console.but i dont know which one i should buy.i am xbox gamer.so i cant miss halo 3 or any microsoft studio games.but i heard rumour that ps3 is going to be more real gaming experience.i hope that is not true.so i hope u guys out there who already have 360 to brag about it so i wouldnt buy the ps3.and i hope you guys are going to tell me that 360 has better graphics

I think in the long run, the PS3 will be marginally better to play on than the 360 MAYBE. The 360 is cheaper, plays well has some ok games out and there is more to come.

I'd go for a 360 without regret at the moment :).

well what makes me feel bad that i still dont have 360 is that GTA style game, Saint Row. Whatever games that allow you to create your own character and progress through the game on your own path or plan are the games that i gotta have.Like Fable and Hitman.I wonder if Saint Row gonna come out on xbox.you know anything?

The things is im a trainer user.i gotta have trainer so i wouldnt smash the box when i get stressed playing and losing.so im waiting for modded 360 that can put trainer or whatever good software.when the modchip gonna come out ? i need the answer

:) :) I have had a xbox 360 4 obver 3 weeks now and i have got to say that ken Kutaragi (The 'father of the PlayStation') has got to pull a rabbit out of the hat to even make the PS3 able to compete with the 360 nevermind overpower it. The PS3 has had numerous blows to it since outlining its original plans.
1) The original controller was crap
2) The hardrive is supposed to be prone to meltdowns
3) The new controllers wont have any force feedback or dualshock ( where will the vibrations be when you are takin the decidin penalty on pro evo or when u r under pressure in a pgr3 race.
4) The PS3 can brag about its cells but sony or the game programmers cant make use out of 70% of them.
5) Some major programmers have complained that its too hard for programmers to program for the ps3.
6) WHich games can u get on the ps3 which u cant on the 360??
7)the ps3 is ridiculously priced
8)blu ray only offers a subtle improvement in quality(in other words its a PR stunt)
9) Microsoft say they have actions in line to counter the ps3 when it is released
10)SONY have become so desperate that they r piching other consoles ideas eg( motion sensor...wii) (achievments...360)

In my opinion i would even get the wii over it.
However i will buy the ps3 and then sell it on ebay so those who have more money than sense will buy the console for a mental price.
Trust me on this one I have been keeping track of the next en war for some time now and in my eyes the ps3 will be a major flop.
Sony are fighting a losing battle.

1) Which is why they went back to the old design, which is to this day still the most versetile for playing games of all types, unlike the Wii controller and the 360 controller which sucks for playing some games with eg. Fighting. Why fix perfection?

2) You went to the future but didnt copy down the winning lottery numbers? tsk tsk tsk

3) But it will have motion sensor which can do more gameplay wise than force feedback ever will.

4)They didnt have any problems with developing for PS2 which was said to be very hard to develope for. The ones that say its too hard are probably those crap developers anyway, games like MGS 4, Final Fantasy XIII, GT5, which are done by respectable console developers know how to make game on PS3 look better than anything 360 has shown thus far.

5) What major programmers? Those ones that mostly make PC games that wouldnt know a rats ass about console gaming? No wonder theres so many FPS games for the PC Dev friendly Xbox and Xbox 360.

6) Dragon Quest IX

7)Its cheaper than Xbox 360 with what you get. You would have to spend an extra $300 with the purchase of a Premium 360 to be able to have Wifi and play HD Movies, which the PS3 has built in. You do the math.

8) Quality in what? Image Quality, faster read speeds, more memory for storage, no compression in Sound and Encoded content?

9) So did Nintendo when they released Zelda the day PS2 was released. If Zelda couldnt stop it, Ill be damned if a Halo or a Gears of War will.


10) Yes, but made improvements to those ideas, making it superior. Would PS3 be a better console with those "Copied" ideas, or worse?

It worked!! Unbelievable, MS quality strikes again. I got the console on launch (Nov 2005)

My PS2, which I got at launch, works like a champ to this day. I'm thinking I'll seriously reconsider buying any MS hardware again.

well thats quite a fight, now i got more stressed out trying to figure out which one i should buy. but i still hearing rumour saying that sony is promising something that way beyond their effort.i bought xbox because there are less japanese games which are usually low rated rpg (except for final fantasy,i guess, i dont like that kinda rpg where you fight like an ordered robot,i like fable kinda rpg where you can control you character all the time).still japanese games usually just crap especially when only in japanese language.damn.they usually have great cutscenes,beauty cutscenes but crappy gameplay

from that last post, if you dont like japanese games, then you probably wont appreciate what the PS3 does have to offer over the 360.
