Before I begin my thread I want to ask a question - I have been told if you flash your DS with flash me, almost everygame will run regardless of the equipment you have, is this correct?
Now, I have found some items that I hope will load homebrews and backups without blowing a hole in spare cash they are as follows:
SanDisk Ultra II Compact Flash Card 1GB (http://picstop.co.uk/Compact-Flash-CF/SanDisk-Ultra-II-Compact-Flash-Card-1GB)
Max Media Dock (http://us.codejunkies.com/shop/product.asp?c=GB&cr=GBP&cs=%A3&r=1&l=1&ProdID=750)
If i purchase both of these can I load homebrews and backups? The media dock comes with a passme type device and I will risk a flashme on my DS IF it will increase game compatability.
Thanks :)

Not exactly. First, the flashme will flash your DS but your ability to run backups and homebrew will still be hardware dependent. Compatibility varies.
And I wouldn't recomment anything made by Datel. Their current homebrew setups are severly lacking. Check the reviews. The only thing by datel worth buying is the MML.

Hmm, what would you suggest for a DS Lite? If im gonna have to buy more expensive gear I may as well pick up a ds lite.

Nope, you'll want a SuperCard or M3 Lite as Datel sucks and nothing works on it. You'll also need a good microSD card and a SuperKey/PassCard3.

So an M3 Lite, Passcard 3 and a Micro/Transflash SD card.
Do winsunx stock the M3 Lite and passcard 3?

The M3 Lite won't be out for another month while the SuperCard Lite will be out on Friday. The SuperCard Lite will also be just as good if not better then the M3 not to mention a whole lot cheaper! I owuld get a SuperCard Lite, PassCard3, and a SanDisk Ultra II 1GB microSD card. You can get good bundle deals at realhotstuff.com

Do your math! 512Mbit = 64MB Duh! Just like the G6 Lite is 4Gbit = 512MB.
