4 Working .ezip to .iso soft
I havent tried it myself, but there is an option to convert from ezip to iso in the tool they provided... does it not work or something?
edit:/ ayup "EZip to ISO not currently supported"

the ability to update the bootloader recovery menu (if a new version is released) from memstick as well as the bios because that usb connection is a unreliable piece of crap imo and i never want to use it again. that's my only complaint about the mod.

Integrated codecs DivX and xVid which are mainly used as a container for *.avi movies.:)

Use the PMP Media player, it's really the only stable consistant way avi based codecs run on the PSP :P.

Some things have been asked before, but here's my complete list:
cso support
rename the iso folder to /ISO for compatibility with devhook (share one memorystick between UP and devhook systems)
working ezip to iso conversion
commandline version of the ezip tool, like ciso.exe for batch processing
better game compatibility. There's already a good job been done and thanks for the 1.1 update, but there's still something left. But the quick release of the 1.1 update assures me that Epsilon is taking their product serious and are constantly working on it.

iso compatibility with cwcheat like the devhookers.

Quite some in my list... But mainly better homebrew support:
1- Better homebrew compatibility, same as 1.5 PSP (since many great app like iRShell don't work...).
2- Fix the home/exit function in homebrew (sometimes it doesn't work... see here (http://forums.maxconsole.net/showpost.php?p=228558&postcount=8)).
3- In the ISOs, Read all files that would normally show/play in the XMB with a UMD
4- Delete ISOs using the XMB game delete function
5- Add an option to the recovery console to load unsupported fw (just the regular fw functions, so you can for instance run the nand dumper yourself)
6- The screen you get after you pressed the home button while running a homebrew, should be equal to the one of the PSP system (equal buttons config, hour/date, language...).
7- Fix the MS reading issues. I never encountered these in original PSP fw... I have some hb in the game folder, savestates, some backups (ISOs) and an offline portal (html, no flash). If I browse a lot in the XMB, scroll up/down in the game/savedata folders, run the browser and exit, browse a little more in the game/savedata folder I get only corrupted data and the browser won't read the portal anymore also... Must hard reset... Here's how it looks:

yea id also like to see this... if epsilon adds whatever it needs to disable sony firmware security and let you use homebrew... surely they can add something that lets you load the gta cheat device(would only work on the gta with the explloit though, so that might confuse some people if they added it)

As far as I am concerned, there was no real need for Epsilon to introduce yet another ISO compression format. Dax and Cso support would have been enough, why reinvent the wheel?

thats like saying why did they bother making jpeg image format when they already had gif or tiff or bitmap or anyother format.

ir shell
Full Feature list.
What is iR Shell?
- It's a PSP shell.
- It's a multitasking switcher.
- It's an infra-red universal remote (iR Commander)
- It's a mp3 player ( during games aswell)
- It's an adhoc WiFi file sender & receiver.
iR Shell allows you to launch applications (UMD games or homebrew) via it's basic shell interface. The current version allows you to multi-task between the launched application and the built-in iR Shell functions. You switch task by pressing the the predefined hotkey (Left Trigger+Select). For example, you launched a UMD game from iR Shell, playing through half of it, switch to iR Commander and change a TV channel, switch back to the UMD game and the game will resume at the point where you left.
You can also choose to take screen snapshots on any UMD games or homebrew applications. Unlike other currently available snapshot tools, this one is highly compatible to most UMD games and homebrews. A Bitmap graphics picture viewer is incorporated into the shell. Currently, it only supports 8bit or 24bit color with 480 x 272 resolutions only, ideal for viewing snapshots.
The built-in iR Commander is an Infra-Red Universal Remote Control software. It allows you to control various home appliances and other infra-red based equipments.
I reeli think epsion team should make this work as it is the best shell that there is

X-Flash epsilon edition! must have!
Maybe integrated in the Epsilon recovery console (the functions would be part of Epsilon itself and not an outside app).

bump...?
The one thing that stands out in my mind as a great feature for Epsilon's Boot loader... instead of stripping away alot of the 1.5 firmware, leave it intact and allow treble booting (if it is indeed possible?). ie: currently 2.71 is supported, so in my ideal until the 2.71 patches work 100%, allow 1.50 (from up), 2.71 (from PSP) and epsilon patched 2.71 (dual loaded).
In my own way (I am no Dark_Alex), I usually try to make what I want before asking someone else for it; so I know currently just adding all the diff files from epsilon's bootstrap flash0 to flash0 of a working 1.5 dump results in non-booting, that their vshmain.prx (elf) does not seem to boot from a MS, that their flash1 seems to be region coded for JPN (hence opposite buttons in homebrew home menu) and that just the uart4.prx they include flashed to 1.5 seems to brick it.

Indeed, being able to use the full features of the 1.5 that the bootloader is based on would be nice. It would also overcome the setting differences between ISO and homebrew, because you could boot to 1.5 and change the settings to your liking.

you could emulate 1.50 (devhook), set the settings how you like, then flash the registry using file assistant
My Wish List:
- Better Game Compatibility
- ID Storage Remapping
- Support for any compressed images
- NEWS from the team!!!!! <--- MUST :D
Also, NEWS/UPDATE from UP.
Chances of the last two are slim to none, lol. Its the same issues like DMS/Toxic, no news and limited to no updates.

I for one have always believed they were one and the same. Mainly because of the need to put "no ground bounce issue" in the initial product release (a very common problem on older DMS chips, something they made the 4/pro to try and solve, though most people have no clue what "ground bounce" really means). Not to mention one of the original install images apparently had the DMS coder's nick in the content.
I for one am not expecting a whole lot from them (UP/Epsilon coders), at least not in any real-time sense, and though I'd still install DMS chips by special request, I try to steer people away from them (DMS are the only ones I have run across with a 10%+ out of box failure rate at end user/buyer/installer).

Same here. I've had to send back soo many SE chips because the stupid thing would crash when it pleases. The original DMS4 PRO is good but had tons of faulty chips too. I personally like the Matrix chips. Now I only wish "DMS/UP/Epsilon/TOXIC" would get the stupid ID Storage issue fixed that their crap broke.

How about a new release full stop..
it's all been a bit quiet in the modchip world recently...
The only thing i'm looking forward to, is the PSOne emulator on fw 3.00.
That way i can have 2.71 SE-B and 3.00 running on my PSP:)

ive given up most hope too, heck even if they dont make anymore updates to the bios itself, a fully working iso compresser would make me happy (i was meaning the decompression part of it)

hmm, im starting to think that the nandimage.flash file structure is similar to the eboot.pbp one, because if it wasnt then you would still have a brick... but seeing as how it boots, just the ID storage thats fuzzed then maby that could help in fixing the fuzzed ID storage... but then maby im just rabbiting on about nothing

The NAND image is a raw dump of what is on the NAND, wrather than a packed file system. Mathieulh released an open source dumper that makes .flash files (and pretty much describes how the data in them is alloted), but so far there is no way to raw write the entire thing back.
