I just got g6 lite today, I test it out with a NDS rom and it worked fine
I can save and play and everything
but when I tried to put in the second rom, it kept giving me "write ok" popups without actually writing the rom onto cart.
anybody have this problem?? please help, how do I format the cart??
EDit:I format it and it worked fine for now

Only game i'm having the same problem with is Mario basketball. Is that what you're trying to write? If so that game isn't compatible yet as far as I can tell.

maybe you are trying to write a *.zip, try extracting first

I had this problem with starfox today. It looks like if there is anything other than the .nds file inside the zip, then the software doesn't know what to do, and doesn't write the rom to the cart. So if you still want to keep everything zipped on your HD (recomended to save space), just make sure that only the .nds file is in the zip and nothing else.

Can we address this issue, becuase it is proving to be a real problem. If your zip has more than one file in it, eg txt file nfo file or thumbnail - then it cant be read by the flash software.
Now I have a full GBA and NDS romset which I would say a large proportion of the zips have nfo, txt and thumbnail files - I cant open each one individually and delete manually -that would take forever.
I also tried searching all zips in a folder via xp, and when the files are listed in the results, delete specific file types - again no such luck, XP wont let me delete a large no of files this way and gives me a 'cannot read from source' error.
Any suggestions?

I'm sorry if you don't think this is a constructive answer, but if you're a rom-playing kinda guy, it's not very hard at all to decide what game you want to play, and unzip it before loading it on the G6. Jesus, it's easier than paying 30 bucks at the very least.

yeah suppose - but its nice to browse through the roms and pick several games (at once) then hit WRITE. Now I cant do that.
What im really asking is whether anyone knows of any utility that will allow me to view the contents of multiple zips at once in order to delete certain files, or alternatively a programme that will scan all zips and delete specific file types from within them..
