ATM for some reason, Holding L+R while the PSP boots 2.6 makes it load normally, while not holding them makes it skip to xmb, but I dont know what I did todo it.
Anyone got any ideas?

i have no idea for me this shortcut never worked realy. The only thing that i have seen.Is if you play a game in 2.6 emulation mode and than go back with up+L+R than you go direct to xmb of 1.5 that we all know.If i start my iso again now with 2.6 emualtion mode it goes direct to xmb. After you shuting down psp and restart it.It boots normal the first time again.Maybe this is what you mean.

Did you change the preload options?
When I was messing around with them to see if it affected the save glitch (before the fix was released) I noticed that it would boot straight to the XMB without using the shortcut command.
If you have changed them, try changing it back to the second option and see if that fixes it. Or just leave it like that, personally I like it behaving that way ;)

which one did you change it to that makes it boot straight to the 2.6 xmb?

From what i've seen it works more like a toggle, i.e. if it was set to go straight to the game, L+R will switch it to going straight to the XMB AND KEEP IT THAT WAY until you do it again to change it back...
*shrugs..

Your right! Just tried it out. Wow, I feel stupid for not realising that :)
The preload option has nothing to do with it, I must have toggled it on when changing the setting and toggled it off again when i changed the setting back. DUH!

the second preload adress skips to xmb automaticly without holding L+R, and hold L+R with the second adress in use makes it boot normally.
So I solved the mystery :)

Wrong.
None of the preload addresses will skip straight to the XMB.
The L+R shortcut toggles that function. People seem to have trouble understanding what that means, so for example...
When you hold L+R while selecting start in DevHook for the first time it should go straight to the XMB. If you then quit to 1.5 and start emulation again without holding any buttons it will go straight to the XMB again. If you use the shortcut a second time it will boot normally with the sony text. If you use the shortcut a third time it once again skip straight to the XMB.
However, I don't think this setting is actually saved to the memory stick, but rather only saved in ram, which seems pointless to me.
If i toggle it on, it will work every time i enter DevHook as long as i don't hard reset the psp. As soon as i actually turn the PSP off completely (not sleep mode), it reverts to displaying the intro again. Very annoying. Does anyone know if there's a way to make the effect stick?
