Playing games over xbox live (that have been installed)

I have an Aladdin Advance+ (gen 3) and 120gb hard drive in my xbox.

How do you play your installed games on the hard drive, with mod chip off, on xbox live?

Once you have xbox live, can you select games from menu , with chip off?

its been said many of times, to play on xbox live your modchip has to be off and you have to be using the original game
