Moonshell 1.31 update for M3 MiniSD

This is what I am using:

1. DSlite
2. M3 MiniSD
3. Passcard 3

Heres what I would like to do: update the built in version of moonshell

When i start up my M3 I see an Icon that reads "Extend".

When i press 'A' it starts up what I like to think is Moonshell 0.9. What I want to know is: Is it possible to update this built in version of Moonshell to 1.31?

Here's what I have done so far:

1. I downloaded moonshell 1.31 and ran the setup program. I left all the default values, and used C and selected "The NDS file for SlimM3SD/NEWm3SD/M3MiniSD".

2.This created an NDS file and a shell directory

3. I copied the files to the root of my miniSD card.

4. I started up my DSlite and chose the Game icon. Then I selected NDS file and pressed 'A'. It started, but its way different from the built in version ... no nice icons :(

Is this the 'standard' moonshell program, and the one I'm used to is the 'M3 Enhanced version"?

Can someone please clairify if it is possible to update the built in 'enhanced' version of moonshell or can only the M3 development team do that?

I am also wondering the same thing. Maybe we have to wait for M3 to release a new update with it?

You can't update the built-in version, it's in the M3 firmware.

I'd like to know if it's possible to auto-run something from M3 such as Moonshell or DS-Organise.
