The U.P. team have sent us their flash application for programming the modchips' onboard NAND flash. It seems well documented and well presented. They inform us that due time required to prepare the release of the flash application installer, the TA-081 diagram will be released tomorrow.

You can download the software via clicking the above download link, it does look very professional! We can now smell homebrew goodness for all in the air thanks to the U.P.

I'm waiting for the alternative device that costs half the price and works on more versions of the PSP. ;)

yeah, but besides making bricked PSPs usefull again and 1.5 firmwares for 2.01+ psp users.... without the (prolly fake) epsilon bios this isnt getting us anywhere in the near future

yes, thats a question i was going to ask...

the modchip is useless without the bios to flash it onto... has there been any more news about the bios...

just wondering because there has been a daily update from the modchip makers but nothing from the firmware group...

wont work without it...

Thanks

Patience; If you currently have a 1.5 PSP you can already see sort of the same type of bootstrapping/patch after load with Boosters devhook .4+ as what "epsilon" is claiming to be. The people who did Toxic bios/os for the PS2 chip have never really said anything directly (why put up a cover "team" that is supposedly not the same as the chip makers and then start off by blowing the cover...) so why expect more than just a release in some vague future from this "epsilon team".
