さっき0.41dを上げました。

ゲームの起動は試してません。各自試して下さい。
・2.xxでLoadModule時の不正アクセスのバグを修正しました。
攻殻が2.xxで動かなくて気が付きました。>動くようになった。
他でフリーズするのも(HOMEが効かない)も一部動くかも。
ここでこの質問は場違いですが、GTA exploitとかで2.60のカーネル
ダンプは取れないのでしょうか?
暗号キーは2.60~2.71まで同じようなので2.60が割れれば2.71まで
起動できそうなので。

try not to use some online translator :P coz some words dont translate accurately and it will sound amusing when read
back to 0.41c for me. 0.41d cause more freeze for me. especially for old games. (1.5)

Yep,works better for me exits my 588mb TOMB RAIDER fine now would freeze with version c.

hi couls some1 please tell me how where to put all these files from Devhhok, i have the 0.40 allready and everything works great, but since the b version there are more folders such as src?? whats this folder for and i mean tools is clear as its only the programm for ciso.
Dh folder in root of MS
Devhook% and Devhook in the psp/game folder
Where does the Src folder go? and is that the only folder i need to put on the MS apart from the two above?
Last Question, i have the firmware's allready working with the Devhook 0.40 build so i dont need to replace the Dh folder right?

Sc folder is the source code (well partial). it does not need to be on ms nor does the tools folder. the folder named MS_ROOT contains the files that needs to be on the root of your memory stick (Hence, MS ROOT) :)

hmmm for some reason when i put 0.40d on my stick everything works ok, but when the game should start it just hangs on the sony screen and shuts off!wheni then power up again i get a settings Error on a Blue Screen and all my psp Settings have to be reset !!
whats wrong with this , i just overwrote everything exept for the 2.00 and 2.5folder?
ok i figured it out it must have had something to do with the 2.00 and 2.500 folder thanks for the Help guys.

So this just fixes a bug when exiting the game or is there any other differences.
anyone know if the wifi bug is fixed or do you still have to use the patch?

I thought Wifi was already fixed in previous versions.
Seems like Booster still is unaware that this program does not work with Datel HDD...

As there is NO 2.6 FW decrypter yet...the answer is still no unless your game has a 2.6 requirment but all the prx files work with the 2.5 decoders (ex. DBZ)

try redump your frimware...
i redumped mine since 41a and i just update devhook41a
to 41b to 41c to 41d by just copying over those files needed to be replace...
its working fine for me
anyway here is a package of the full devhook 41d (firmware dump not included nor the 333mhz wifi fix due to copyright files)

i having trouble when i overwrite devhook like some others in this thread. I'm suspecting it has something to do with my firmware dump. Can someone guide me down the correct path?

It's possible that the bug fix for freezing because of illegal memory access when calling "loadModule" on 2.00/2.50 has been improved. [trans. note, I'm not sure whether this is a new bug fix that has been implemented or whether it is a fix for a previous bug fix that caused this behavior; in either case, I don't think that the difference is material, the key is that the illegal memory access issue that was present may be fixed now]

I didn't test whether "version down games" start when using a UMD. [trans. note, not sure what Booster's getting at here so I've given a literal translation of "version down games", can someone help me out?] I'd like each of you to please test this.

This may be a weird question to post here, but is it possible to grab a 2.60 kernel dump using something like the GTA exploit?

I'm asking because the encryption key is the same for 2.60 - 2.71 so it seems that if 2.60 can be broken, everything up to 2.71 can be run.

Ghost in the shell part is weird cause it booted on my PSP with 0.41c in cso form and with noumd mode. Maybe it's about JAP, mine is US.
MPH and RunUMD boot modes have still the (1.5 only) label, did someone succeed somehow with these modes ?

if you can get ram dump of 2.6/2.7 then the decrypted modules and keys would be there. we do not have kernel access on these versions so it must be done through hardware. also the fw stays encrypted on the flash at all times

I'm not sure if this is of interest to anyone, or if this is the right place to post, but there was another post by Booster on the BBS that I thought was noteworthy:

I feel that it seems like if you use the Multi-Firmware module or something (Referring to 0okm's work and Undiluted Platinum) and run 2.71 and 1.50 together you can either use USB or do something from the 1.50 side to draw something out...[trans. note, probably referring to reading out 2.71 from 1.50]

If anyone has any feedback on my translations; particularly if you notice errors, please let me know. Some of the "forum speak", broken changelog phrases, and sentences that are predicated on some relevant knowledge that I don't have are a bit tricky to accurately convert. I'm by no means a professional, or even a skilled translator, so I'd be grateful if anyone has tips or further clarifications for me. The same goes on the technical side as well, I'm certainly not an expert on the PSP, but if someone could help clarify some of the technical points that I don't get right, I can try to edit my posts and to use that knowledge to help with future translations. While I doubt I'll be developing anything fantastic (or anything at all), I think I have a sufficient background in architecture and crypto to understand how the things that others are developing work (at least at a high level).

I had same issue with 1.5 games. When updating from 0.41c to 0.41d, replace everything except dh/kd/devhook.prx seems to somehow fix it.
