Ok so don't bash me for asking this. Besides this, what do I need to run homebrew and other things? Do i need one of those passkey cards? I just got a DS Lite for upcoming fathers day and would like to play around with other stuff.

I doubt M3 could make an adapter this small, they couldn't even make the M3 SD in the original size of a GBA Cart like the EZ4/SC Mini.

The actual hardware looks to be virtually identical to the M3 unit. Any chance of a couple of flat high-ish res photos of each side of the PCB so I can do a direct comparison? I like the idea of distributing the software on a USB key.

Just add a passkey and a SD card (or whatever) and you're good to go.

good eye momdad ... I didn't catch the microSD on the bottom of the pic in that one. Not too shabby ... this looks like the one to get. FRY's has had 1gb microSD's for like $30 recently. Anybody know of a better deal than that?

Nope....RTC functions have been removed from ez4/lite. The battery is more for gba saves. It retains it abd writes to sd between reboots.

This looks like a great piece of kit; I'll have to get one to go with my new DS Lite! Does anyone know if anything has to be done to clean ROMs before they can be used with this? On my Supercard miniSD they just have to be patched using the Supercard patcher (so all the software is included). Is there a similar patching process for the EZ4 Lite, or does it have its own software for this, or can it run clean ROM dumps?

I contacted a company I was going to order the EZ Flash 4 Lite from and they said that the PassCard 3 does not work with it. They said that this will work though:

I don't know if I should order this and buy a 1G MicroSD card or just get the G6 Lite.
