and in that case how (gta)? I've been trying but I can't seem to get it working

Any UMD should work. I'm using the demo UMD that came with my 1.5 US PSP.

The wallpapers are full res as AFAIK, just put a picture in the photo folder and browse to it, you'll then have an option to set it as a wallpaper.

and use devhook evolved and mphgameloader. no sleep but it works without a umd. At least GTA and Megaman and MLB 06 and others work w/save. I am still hoping that Booster will find a way to help those of us with broken umd drives and if you own a original 1.5 that will include you too soon enough. Although at $159 new I am going to buy a new psp soon(w/ rebate) thats the lowest price ive seen yet. probably a 2.7 tho.
