I use Krayzies Ndure installer (now version) 1.1 for every softmod I do. I have yet to have a problem with any of them. As far as dashboards... you'll just have to experiment to see which one you prefer. My personal chioce is Unleash X.

Id recomend Unleash X, its what ive used for ages now and it is simple just like Evox.

SID 4.5 and Unleashed X IMO is the best option ;)! Very easy and straightforward gui for SID 4.5 (and it has pretty much afoolproof mode, so if you delete your dashboard you can still run things and it just tells you "hey, there is no dashboard"). Unleashed X is great because of the GUI, compaired to EvoX, Unleashed X wins hands down.

you cant go past krayzie's work or aid for softmods.
dash's are a preferrential thing.
for noobs, no disrespect to anyone, go evo-x.
then its just a matter of what you do with ya box.
xbmc with its kai and trainer abilities cant be beaten.
avalaunch for its easy to use auto-xbox-to-xbox setup and ftp settings.
unleash for using xmv's(xbox media videos) as skins is the shizzle. any .xmv file from a game can be set up to be a background on unleash, like srs stripper girls, bmx xxx stripper girls, tonnes of others..!
i personally use ava for its ftp being setup for qwix

??? Why? Unleashed X is actually a lot easier to navigate (unless you are considering all those "guides" about how to use evo x and such). The menus are organized better, build in file browser, yes it donesn't have the ability to flash the bios and other features that are very advanced, but why would a n00b need that?

Don't get me wrong, I'm not flaming you, it's just your logic is not making any sense...O.o

sorry mate. i meant that the evo dash is more noob-friendly than most other dashes. it's menu is so simple and has less mod-ability than some.ie. less chance of stuffing it.
dont freak at the risk of flaming, mate.
i appreciate any honest criticism....
