I knew the Wii wasn't going to be in high def, but I still expected reasonable "next gen" graphics from it. Those screen don't look any better than an xbox or ps2.

Besides, the machine won't be able to show better graphics than the developers make ;) With that I mean, Tony Hawk games always looked like crap, on all platforms!
