Supercard Mini Sd + Superpass 2 Newbie !!!

hi all
just purchased supercard mini sd superpass 2 2gb mini sd and 256mb mini sd awaiting for this to be delivered now any one help me what i should be 1st doing when it all arrives etc ?? got one of the 1st ds`s released did the picochat test and it goes blue please help thanks

be careful with the superpass, read a few posts down, someone f*cked up his ds slot with it.

Remember that the SP2 goes in just like any DS game. Insert it until you hear a click, then pull it out just enough until you feel resistance on the SP2. To remove it, do the same as if you're removing a DS game (push down until you hear a click, then you can pull the SP2 out).

Go Here (http://eng.supercard.cn/) and get the latest kernel and software for your MiniSD SC and also for guides on how update the firmware on the SP2 and how to use the SC software (updating kernel, converting ROM images, etc.)

To avoid messing up your DS slot and eliminate the use of the SP2 (which, BTW, drains the battery faster than using the SC alone), I reccomending installing FlashMe to your DS. More information can be found Here. (http://www.dspassme.com/FlashMe.shtml)

so i have bought super pass 2 for nothing ? or can i follow that guide with superpass 2??

No. in order to FlashMe your DS you need a superpass or another tool like that. I just FlashMe'ed mine and it works hottly. Read some manuals on how to Flah it, and then you wont need the superpass.

You can do it either way. If you are comfortable using the SP2 along with the SC, then there is no reason to apply FlashMe to your DS. But, as you can tell with S_E's post (http://forums.maxconsole.net/showthread.php?t=19410), you might run into problems using the SP2.

So yeah, you didn't buy it for nothing. One way or the other, you'll need the SP2 to apply FlashMe or to play homebrew or backup images.

i think i get it now do i insert superpass 2 with ds game on and supercard with firmware on sd card and short the contacts ?

awwwwwwww how the hell do i do this firmware thing i ave got the choose of firmware on mini sd in ssuper card in ds i have also got a game in the superpass 2 and that in the ds i have also got the battery cover off ?????????????????? :mad: :mad: :mad:

well ihave old ds version so dont need to update superpass or supercard tried google please help want to no how to update ds firmware
