Hehe, I love these flash tutorials, we end up making a few of them for various things. Here's a link to them if anyone is interested:

Back to the topic here, this URL is the manual form that was published in the AID manual, might be good for extra reference:

That tutorial is pretty straight forward on the software side of things. And anyone wondering if you can put a debug bios on a modchip, you can but it must be a real debug bios with the debug rc4 (such as CPX 1.02), any regular bfm bios will not work on a modchip (and neither will a debug bios with DVD player support since they use the retail rc4 [such as CPX 1.03]); both will work with a bios loader app though (which is why most tutorials cover softmods).
Also, I should note that most debug bios's are a full 512kb, do not split a debug bios in to 256kb parts if you are unsure. If you use a freeware splitter on a 1mb bios make sure you cross check it with md5 checksums since all equally split parts should have the same md5. If you split a bios in to 256kb parts and each part has the same md5, then the bios is really 256kb and not 512kb :)

i put the yoshi 256k on mine. is that any good?
sorry for being a complete noob, but i am learning :D
For debug use, as long as it boots up it should be fine. I only mentioned the CPX since v1.03 wont work on a modchip & v1.02 will, which is not very clear in the readme.

hairy muff ;)
I have the xecuter 2.x 512k bios with Evox dash on bank 1 and the yoshi 256k bios with XDK dash on bank 2.
They both load up sweet as, i can connect up with XDK assist but not with ETT or VS.net any idea why not? coz i am stumped
