Sorry for a late reply, but are you talking about full size DVD-R's or DVD-RWs? i had a Xeno modchip installed (before selling it) in my previous gamecube and i bought mini Ritek DVD-r's and nothing worked. I guess i was suppose to buy Mini-DVD-RW's, so does this boot all media or just a specific one in general ?

- or + Rs. Without doing a pot. adjustment, some Cubes won't read RW media. Full sized media is ok (and more cost effective, IMO).

You should consider looking around on google.com I know theirs a few other Gamecube related websites that list DVD's that are compatible.

I just recently installed a Duo Q in my Gamecube and found that the generic Office Depot Mini DVD-R's work. They are more expensive then the full size DVD-R's, 10 for $20, but I didn't want to run my Gamecube without the cover or buy a replacement cover.
Also, probable a newb question, but has anyone experienced any fall backs of using full size DVD's? Burning out the motor or anything?
Thanks!!
