On Divineo it says it's Compatible with both Mini SD and SD cards! Is this true on the M3 main site it only say mini SD.

Hello, in fact they speak about the M3 SD Slim version, I think... you can use whether SD card or a SD mini+SD adapter (allow to use your mini SD card in every regular SD device).
But I think it's not very honest of divineo china to speak about mini-Sd in this context, because a lot of people are waiting about the M3 Mini SD and could be confused.
Who knows if the confusion is made on purpose or not?!?
By the way, divineo.de mentionned that they should order the M3 mini SD within 10 days, so it should be available at divineo.de within 20 days... ?!

Please don't forget that I told about divineo.de only and it's an approximation.
Maybe the new passkey 2 Lite will be available in the same time for grouped command with M3 mini SD.
I can't wait the new Flashme with support of dsLite features, I hope this will come soon...

If it runs Mini SD it runs SD, but your SD card will stick out :D

FlashMe version 7 with support of ds-lite features.
M3 mini.
Sandisk Mini SD 2GB. (not yet available?)
I have some worries about M3 and Nintendo, since they released a version supporting dumping, I think maybe Nintendo could be more interested about the case of M3..... Finally I'm not sure it's a good thing this dumper was released...
I know that people will react to this, but it's just my opinion ;)

isnt the dumper completely legal?
and yes they do have a 2gig sandisk....

I don't really know, it seems that it depends on country... but even if it's legal, this could be considered as a bigger threat by Nintendo?!?
2 giga mini-SD sandisk (last time I've checked on Sandisk website, the status was: available in 5-6 weeks).
I can't wait this new m3, the current M3 Cf is so big ;)

the item divineo.cn has for sale is the M3 SD slim, not the mini. I believe they are purposely capitalizing on the excitement of the impending release of the mini, by claiming "mini SD/SD compatible".
And deliberately being slightly misleading.
mini SD is the same protocol as SD, but if the m3 SD mini can take regular sized SD cards too, I'll eat my shorts. It wouldnt only stick out, regular SD cards are wider than mini SD. the build quality of a device with a slot that can take both SD and mini SD would be highly questionable.
They are just talking about m3 SD slim, and that it is compatible with miniSD (with an adapter, of course). The confusion is either poor translation, or deliberate misleading. (i suspect the latter)
At least one member of m3-forum.com was assured by divineo.cn that he was purchasing the SD mini version. I think that is really mean of them. Unless they have both in stock and are just really terrible at their explanation.

if they do have the min sd m3 then why show no news about it or pictures?
I dont think they have it....its all a missunderstanding......

It is the mini-sd version, not the regular SD version as the conspiracy theorists on here would like you to believe. I got it in three days for divineo.cn without any problems. So, to clarify, it IS indeed the mini-sd version, and works great.

It only accepts mini SD or will accept standard SD also - there is some confusion on this.

It's only mini-sd. On this part divineo.cn is wrong. The hole where it takes the mini-sd memory is not wide enough to hold an SD card. In this there description is wrong.

Could you please briefly report on the M3 micro's performance?
How well does it perform on the "castlevania test"? Have you experienced any slowdown yet? What about GBA mode?
And lastly what type of MiniSD card are you using?
If chowchowbear doesn't see this, and someone else can answer these questions I'd love to hear from you :D
[currently undecided as to whether or not I should opt for the M3 slim, or the M3 micro]

Just recieved them yesterday - and so far so good. The M3 cart is really no bigger than a gba cart, and the Passcard 2 is no bigger than a regular DS card. Between the 2 of them, you can't even tell a special card or cart is in use!
It is mini SD only.
Performance so far has been fine as far as I can tell - what's the castlevania test? I'll try it whatever it is. Haven't tried GBA mode yet... you mean loading a GBA cart on and playing it I assume?
I'm using a 1gb Kingston Mini SD ($36, newegg.com) + generic Mini SD reader and both work fine with the M3 cart.
Any more info I can give, I will be around.

i have a mini sd and 512 play.com card. I got a 5 in the castelvania test. So far not had a single problem, all my games boot nds and gba and the autosave works amazingly.
O btw a 5 is the best. Its means the video played perfectly.

sounds like either there's a problem with your M3 or the SD card you are using.
as you can see, your card has been confirmed to work:

try writing a nds game, closing the m3 tool, then writing another. There seems to be a problem with writing lots at once. Just write one at a time and it will work fine.
