What should i do now?Its a tiny bug that when i turn on my psp and play my games it walks on the screen of my psp,it might be attracted by the light :(
i dont want to disassemble my psp unit,i thought if i can purchase some spray for the bugs and spray on my psp,it will stink for a while but will be ok or i ll damage it? :(
lmfao, are you serious? How in the world did a bug get on the inside?

i am so serious m8 and so angry simultaneously,i play megaman powered up and instead of looking forward the bug always been caught by my eyes and i cant play,i loose my lives, its so annoying its so small like 4 pixels together and the stupid bug is walking on all over the screen!!!I am so pissed off!!!
Well I would wait a few days till it dies on it's own rather then bug bomb my PSP.

funniest
topic
ever.
regarding psp anyway. lmao, must have creeped through one of the ports or umd drive.
you could always try shaking the psp upside down with umd drive open, or just wait for it to die, which shouldn't be too long..

Just leave your PSP for a few days the insect would die becouse theres no food in there.
[Offtopic]I would find it funny if it wasnt for the fact that I got a returned xbox(inported) yesterday, the customer had it chipped by me about a mounth ago,he brought it back complayining that after I chipped it it wouldnt turn on(I allways test ALL mechines before giving it back to the customer) so I opened it,had a look at the PSU and it seemed okay, but some where some thing was shorting, when I removerd the PSU I found a HUGE scorpion underneath it,it shorted the PSU and died in the process, what makes me flintch is the fact that whe do not have ANY scorpions in our area(or where the customer stays) and I had to have modded that mechine with that thing inside,it could have been piosoness  ,who says modding is harmless to your health

Ohh HELL NO! That would of freaked me out. I moded an XboX for a fool once and when I opened it up it was FULL of cockroaches, had to be atleast 50 of em in there. I threw the thing out the front door and told the guy he could come scrape it up from my front lawn. Sick stuff!

I had this happen with my old TFT ... one day i just noticed a very small black dot wandering around the screen ... at least i assume it was a bug ... i think the bug in mine died round the back of the screen somewhere ...
Good luck in getting it sorted, i imagine you may have to dismantle it, you should be ok if you take your time :)

03-24-2006, 03:09 PM

in case someone wants to take apart the psp faceplate there are 5 screws that should be removed, the 1 screw in the bottom of the psp the other 2 next to the ms duo slot and 1 hidden under the battery under a $ony sticker(you must remove the sticker in order to see this screw) and also the screw above the last screw which is visible.

the bug started disintegrating(melting) and it stucked on the lcd, there is no way but to void the warranty cause i had to remove the faceplate so i can remove the bug and its juice :( either way my psp is a jap and i dont have a warranty for it :(
kayhan 17#
03-25-2006, 03:32 AM
then the best option for you get the faceplate off!
and then after you´ve removed the **** of the ***** u get cannedair and press out the dust then u install the faceplate again.. but do it fast cause the LCD of the PSP is like a dustmagnet u get dust in seconds :)

LMAO just buy a new lcd screen. Trust me those things don't disinigrate. My 50" tv had a grasshopper in between the screen (im not kidding) and me being only five at the time squashed it while it was inbetween the screens. You see are screen was protected by a square 50" piece of plastic so I'm guessing the bug was already inside the TV and probably squeezed in between the actual tv screen and the plastic. Its been ten years and that squashed bug is still there. My parents never bothered to get rid of it. :D
Now whenever I'm staring at the screen watching Yo Momma hearing him say you'll win a thousand dollars casssssssh monnnneeeeey! I stare at the bug...wishing I never killed it while it was on the screen

Hehe. This reminds me about 2 months ago. A girl (Yes! A girl!) Gave me two broken PS2's, she said they didn't work. But she brought 1 ps2 at a time to school. I took the first one home, and it was sitting a couple days in my room, and I see roaches crawling around. I'm like. Hmm.. wierd. So I ignore it. I soon decide to open it up and OMG. I was like woah! In my house and all! So I ran to my next door neighbor's house, got some bug spray, and threw the PS2 in the front yard, Then, I spent like 3 hours cleaning my room and the house... I had pictures but it was on my HDD before it got erased. Then about a week later, she brought the second one to school. I'm like... no, I don't want it!!! So yeah, a couple of my idiot friends were then throwing it in the hallway, LOL, it was too funny.
But yeah, that *@&^ made me soo mad. I was just too embarrased to tell her, and it's a bit sad to see some people live like that. But yeah. Lesson learned. NEVER OPEN UP CONSOLES FROM ELSE WHERE INDOORS. :P

Hah, the other day I found a nasty little fly in my salt shaker, of course, that had an easier solution, but it left me to wonder how he fit in there seeing as the bug was at least twice as big as the holes on the shaker.

Off-topic maybe but one of the reasons I bought a new faceplate was for the screwdriver, so I can get dust out of the inside of the screen :D
