This is the price just for the material. There are development type things that cost Microsoft a lot more to make these controllers. Microsoft developed their own wireless technology for this. That had to have taken a pretty penny.

Yep, not to mention shipping and stuff, and trying to make a few extra dollars on their accessories since they're losing money on every console sold.

well they need to make the money so other way aswell, if they are losing money on the console they need to make the game prices higher and offer more acc's, i can remember when the ps1 came out, was like £300+ and the game where like £50 lile 360, now look at it :p
