I got the supercard sd for some days. I am not interested in gba games.
Only DS and homebrew. All the NDS I tried (12 games the most popular
ones) worked perfectly and I could save. One of the most important
issue (for me) that persuade me not to get the cf one is that cf sticks
way out of the slot.
However in the CF case you can get the CF out without getting
the whole supercard out from the DS. In the sd case the sd
memory is being inserted on the side of the card. Thus
every time you need to update the data in the card you need
to remove the supercard of the DS.
This is not neccesarily bad, but as people commented in other
forums the fit of the supercard in the DS is kind
of tight and as you are getting the card in and out you can
feel (and hear) the friction between the plastic casing of the super card
and the internal of the DS (It is not as bad and scary as it sounds and
definately NOT harmful)
In short, I LOVE the supercard sd because it does not stick out
like the supercard CF or the M3.
People say that M3 has better
fit, but man it makes the DS way ugly (my opinion)
Anyways, sorry about my english.
hope this helps.

I have the Supercard CF. It seems this model isn't as popular due to the design, and I admit the CF card sticks out quite a bit. I don't leave it in there though...I store the card away when I put my DS back in it's carrying case. I think this model has advantages, particularly the fact that I don't have to take the whole Supercard out to access the flash memory, which makes adding and deleting games a quick and easy affair. I hate removing the whole Supercard since it's such a poor fit in the GBA slot...feels like I'm going to snap the plastic just pulling it out. I could probably sand down the edges to make a better fit, but I usually leave it in there so it's not an issue. There also seems to be better homebrew software support for the CF, such as ScummVM.

i would recomend sd because they are smaller and fit streight into the sc. they also have more memory up to 2gigs!
p.s please help me on my thread :( http://forums.maxconsole.net/showthread.php?t=17148
No real diffrence anymore. There were diffrences in the begining of the DS days as the SD was harder to program for, but Romman seems to have the bugs ironed out and both a pretty much the same. I have an SD version and it is flawless. Like what was already stated, the SD looks alittle more cleaner since it doesnt stick out as far in the DS. You will really enjoy either version.
