HEH, after buying my 360 buying one of those(black is only color ill get) is going to seem like buying a new toaster, LOL, i hope they really do only cost a couple hundred $ cuz i really wanna check this out.
i thought the rumble pack sounded wierd back in the day and its become an every game thing on almost every game on almost every system and leaves me wondering if the same will follow again with this controller desighn?

The big N is always at the forefront of innovation. (Analog, Rumble, etc.) Shouldn't be any different this time around. Anyone remember how everyone thought the DS would fail miserably when the touch screen was announced? Well my PSP has a nice layer of dust collected on it while my DS gets play almost every day. I don't forsee this going any differently.
This will be great for non gamers like my mother. I used to play super mario bros back on the NES with her when i was a kid, and she was always flailing the controller around hoping it would make mario run faster. She did the same w/tetris on the GB tiliting it side to side in an attempt to make the peices go in that direction faster. It only seems natural. If Nintendo has a solid online platform, then this will be the ultimate online gaming platform, as Nintendo consistantly makes the best multiplayer games. I can't wait to check out this beast at E3! :D

This is the press booklet from TGS 2005, way back in around November. This is all promotional stuff with a lot of prototypes and whatnot. It is all really interesting to see, I recommend finding the full booklet to browse through. TehSkeen has a direct link for the full brochure. I think the only reason it took so long to get out there was because of NDAs (non-disclosure agreement).
This history part is what I really would like to read. I just havent gotten around to learning Japanese yet. (good ol' bittorrent has a full Japanese learning class). E3 has a long ways away, I really cant wait for all the new information about this console. Especially considering none of the pictures have any name of the console, no Revolution badging anywhere.

Reminds me of nongamers leaning to the side when trying to steer in super mario kart. It's amusing and humorous that this kind of control will actually work now :D
