View Full Version : Game offer Xbox 360 Games for 99p Each in UK
Ok ok, it probably sounds better on paper than in reality. Leading UK video games retailer GAME are offering Xbox 360 titles at a bargain price of 99p when any TWO xbox 360 titles are traded in. Like I said, it sounds better on paper than in reality. You could probably flog two titles on Ebay, and have more than enough to buy a new title. Anyway, this is certainly a head line grabber and the promotion ends next Thursday in the UK.

Perhaps its time to offload some of those poor quality launch titles ?
This offer is available in store only and not online.

TBH thats crap - my local small retailer will give you one new title if you give him 2 games for the 360 (no money involved). Hes been doing this since launch day. GAME are just robbing gits who over charge on all games.

Who in there right mind trades 2 new games for 1 new game + pays 99p on top..
That has to be the lamest offer ever as you can easily make a reasonable amount of money back for the game on ebay...

yup and i witnessed it myself today when i was in town.
its so stupid, another thing that sucks is that in game (one example-) condemned new is £49.99 and condemned preowned it £44.99! its such a rip off. for those in the US thats $88 new and $80 preowned.

Best retailer to buy 360 games from is Asda, every game (except Ltd. Edition PDZ) is £39.99.
Best online retailer is play.com, same prices as Asda and has the cheapest peripherials (spelling?) too.

is this offer only "in store"
online they are all still £39.97
gameplay.co.uk is also a good online store. i usually order from there as they are based in the UK and games arrive next day. play.com usually take a few days because they're based in Jersey for tax reasons.

UK is a rip off for games if you look at the other countries they pay about £25 i know its only like £10 but it adds up, GAMES policy for trading is very poor they sell a game for about £40 and they give you £14 if lucky or trade 3 xb games in and get xb360 game for 99p thats rip off when you look at price of xb games still
