well all depends of your taste ;)

For my point of view yes it's worth it.. but it'S far from being the standard FF game your used to see ;)

It's all action.. no more turn based..

I suggest you visit www.metacritic.com and check out the various review out there.

It might give you a better idea.

this is a pretty cool game.. I've invested several hundred austrlian dollars in it.

It has a few disadvantages..
1. the core experience is multiplayer, so if you don't have friends, you're out of luck - single is apparently boring
2. you need 1 GBA per player for muliplayer which is not something everyone owns, or has money to fork out for a game

I forked out the cash to import the game, and buy a GBA just for it, I stole a GBA from another friend, and got one of my mates to buy one. You have stats and other key info on your GBA screen allowing you to manage your inventory/spells etc without breaking the pace as the other players continue without interruption.

It is a pretty game, it's fun, the battles are good, the experience of yelling at your mates for stealing items, not healling you and the overall co-operation and team work is a key to this game.

We're not far in the game yet, but will invest several weekend in it i'm sure.

If you have a few friends who would be interested in the game, and/or they have GBAs or the money to buy one, then it definately is worth it, but if you're only going to buy a GBA for this game/friend's won't be too interested, or you're only in it for single player, then it's probably not worth it.
