Fifa 07 exploit

First off I'm not a noob so this will be easy to answer but I just want somone to confirm what I'm seeing.
The readme that is distributed with the Fifa 07 exploit states that you need the original NORTH AMERICAN version of fifa 07 to launch the exploit so I bought one off ebay.
Once I got it I noticed the north american version is in fact ULUS-10112 which does not match the save file of ULES-00440 containing the exploit.
I should have noticed this prior to googling but ULES-00440 is EUROPE region. Does this in fact require the European disk to launch (as the US version does not work)?
The readme does state it is tested and confirmed with ULES-00440(which turns out to be European version) but also states north american region disk is needed so their is conflicting info there.
If so I just wanted to get word out because people are probably trying with US disks like I did and flaming it on forums cuz it "doesn't work" when it most certainly may with the correct disk.
Can anyone confirm this exploit working on 5.50-5.55?
I will also post results once I obtain the correct disk.

That's what I'm asking lol.
I bought the wrong regional copy of Fifa 07 to try it.
There is a vid on youtube of the developer making it work.
The beta is supposed to be able to downgrade OFW 5.50 t0 5.00
The patch for the beta is able to downgrade OFW 5.51 or 5.55 to 5.00
I have all the necessary files to launch, I just bought the wrong disk.
Will confirm when I get the right region.

If you already have a hackable PSP then you can always download the ISO and test the exploit, it will still work the same way if you are on CFW without the need of a real UMD....

ONLY WORKS WITH UMD DISK ULES-00440 and said firmwares.
I bought wrong disk because readme.txt stated to use NORTH AMERICA version but ULES-00440 is the Europe disk.

Yes downgrader.
The beta takes you from 5.50 to 5.00
The v1 patch takes you from 5.50,5.51,or5.55 to 5.00
It's menu looks Identical to DC8 but can ONLY downgrade to OFW 5.00
Says in readme any other action results in incorrect flash thus brick.
It's a SAVEGAME exploit with decent instructions.
From what I can tell you follow the install instructions then you have to boot the psp ON AC POWER ONLY with Fifa 07 ULES-00440 umd inserted while holding triangle and O so the game will load the savegame(exploit) on startup.
No confirmation yet as i have wrong disk.

Looks like DC8 but has exploit version in lower corner and ONLY has install OFW 5.00 function. Forgot to mention they state it works on TA-088v3 but not 3000 model psp yet.

I would have thought people would jump on this kind of thing, hard and fast... it does sound bogus to me, I may download the ISO and try it on my Slim, even if it doesn't work i expect at least a crash...

That video is nothing but him using DCv8 to install 5.00 OFW..

Never did he actually run FIFA 07 to use it to do anything. He just put in the UMD and then booted up DCv8.

I was just looking for confirmation and if you can't contribute you should go troll with Naked Faerie or something. I was so jacked up on AMP and NOS energy drinks I was tinkering with all kinds of crap. The vid does look fake but just looking to fully prove/disprove any options.

At the beginning iam telling you, its BETA VERSION (v1.0) so theres still problems with working, corretly insallation or even with turning on
This package contains files used by me freshly after correctly flash my PSP. I had to work with this a bit (i started working on that exploit since May)
Thats everything from my side, enjoy


- format ms
- copy ms0/psp folder into your root ms
- run your fifa 07 UMD only !
* doesnt work with asians version, North America is required (tested on ULES-00440 and 022)
- when asking about autosave, choose NO
- go to PROFILE / LOAD PROFILe and choose our savegame
- start any match (any team / stadion etc. )
- when game will be loading hold R trigger until the display will turn white.
- wait until game will turn off still holding trigger
- turn PSP on , connect to PC and put decripted 500.PBP (5.00 OFW files) into ms0\PSP\mod\eboot\ ,
- Open file "sample" in EBOOT folder and write:

run at ....
inos-x.xx (x.xx is your OFW version, write 5.50 for inos-5.50)
outos-y.yy (y.yy is your destination version, write 5.00 for outos-5.00) (not work for any other)

- then turn PSP off
- remove cover, battery and plug ac adaptor
- turn PSP again and go to GAME > MemoryStick > and look for "BIN" file (160kbs), delete it
- turn psp off
- press n hold TRIANGLE and CIRCLE and switch psp on still holding
- PSP MS MOD should show
- Choose INSTALL 5.00 OFW

Wait and voila ! Youve got the 5,00 and your PSP is ready to install 5.03 and load ChickHEN

1. Ive got 3000 model / 5.51 or 5.55 software version and it doesn't work, why?!

It's fake if you never remove the PSP power cable after being in service mode, the PSP stays in service mode.
